  • Patent number: 11530991
Abstract: A method to process an image to determine a biological property associated with a test strip (221, 313, 323, 333, 413, 423, 513, 523) in a test strip adaptor (120, 220, 620, 720). The method includes receiving the image captured by a mobile computing device (100, 600, 700) and determining whether the received image includes sensitive information. In response to determining that the image includes sensitive information, the method further includes overwriting the image with a later received image before the image can be saved as a file. In response to determining that the image does not include sensitive information, the method further includes identifying a characteristic configuration associated with the test strip (221, 313, 323, 333, 413, 423, 513, 523) and determining the biological property based on the image and the characteristic configuration.

  • Patent number: 9579805
Abstract: A brake device of a robot arm utilizes a brake disc whose diameter is much larger than a diameter of a ratchet for increasing a contacting area of the brake disc, so as to generate a greater friction force. The brake device further utilizes a combining pin, a combining plate, and a plurality of guiding pins for transferring a rotating torque to the brake device having a larger diameter, so as to extend a moment arm of the friction force and generate a greater moment, which reduces a prepressing force and extends life of the brake device.

  • Patent number: 8220009
Abstract: A protection device of a slot-in optical disk drive is provided. The protection device is disposed between two linking parts of the slot-in optical disk drive. One of the two linking parts is formed with a slot, and the other one of the two linking parts is connected to an upper end of a guide pin. A lower end of the guide pin protrudes and is inserted into the slot, and a portion of the guide pin corresponding to a side of the slot is formed with a notch. As the notch engages with the slot, the situation that the guide pin slides out of the slot can be avoided.

  • Publication number: 20120042329
Abstract: The invention provides a jam-proof device of a slot-in optical disk drive. In the jam-proof device, a contact pin protrudes from one end of the loading bar, the other end of the loading bar is pivoted with a pivot on a first side of the casing, and a block protrudes adjacent to the pivot. One end of the unloading bar is pivoted on a second side of the casing opposite to the first side, and a reception end is formed at the other end of the unloading bar to extend to a center of the casing. A distance between the block and the reception end at a default position is shorter than a diameter of an 8-cm disc to prevent the disc from entering the slot-in optical disk drive.
