    Abstract: A seat occupant sensor device for detecting whether or not an occupant is seated on a seat is made up of a pressure sensitive switch including a pair of sensor portions and a connecting portion, with each of the sensor portions being formed as an integration of a pair of opposed films and a spacer. On one of the films is disposed a plurality of spaced first electrodes which are electrically connected to each other by way of a first conductive path, and on the other film is disposed a plurality of spaced second electrodes which are electrically connected to each other by way of a second conductive path. The spacer is disposed between the pair of opposed films in such a manner that each of the first electrodes is maintained separate from the corresponding second electrode when the seat is unoccupied. The first conductive path and the second conductive path extend into the connecting portion, and the connecting portion is positioned, when in its free state, between the pair of the sensor portions.

    Abstract: An attachment structure for installing a load sensor to a vehicle seat includes the load sensor having a plate-shaped strain unit and a strain gauge for detecting a strain of the plate-shaped strain unit. The load sensor is structured that one end of the plate-shaped strain unit is fixed to a seating portion of the vehicle seat and the other end of the strain unit is fixed to a vehicle body. Also, a strain portion is defined between each fixed end of the plate-shaped strain unit, and the strain portion is deformable in a vertical direction relative to the vehicle seat. In addition, a load input point from the seating portion is defined approximately at a central portion of the strain portion of the plate-shaped strain unit.

    Abstract: A regulator for a power window having a safety function for preventing an object from being caught in a closing power window includes a driving unit for raising and lowering the window glass of a vehicle and a driven unit which receives power from the driving unit. When frictional resistance corresponding to relative displacement between the driving and driven units is less than a fixed value during descent of the window glass and exceeds this fixed during ascent of the window glass, the ascending window glass is reversed and made to descend. When the amount of an increase in current to the driving unit during ascent of the window glass increases in a case where the sliding resistance has exceeded a fixed value even once during descent of the window glass, the ascending window glass is reversed and made to descend.

The surface of the optical block 1 on the side of the photosensitive body is formed into a curved surface to constitute a concave mirror. The rotating mirror and the photosensitive body are arranged in optically conjugate relation in sub-scanning direction by the focal distance.
