  • Publication number: 20080283117
Abstract: A solar cell module capable of suppressing reduction of the quantity of power generation while retaining adhesive strength of a laminated resin film also when exposed to environment influenced by heat, moisture, light (ultraviolet light) etc. over a long period is obtained. This solar cell module (1) comprises a plurality of solar cells (10) electrically connected with each other by a tab electrode (20), a filler (40) for sealing the plurality of solar cells (10) and a laminated resin film (30, 130, 230), arranged on at least one surface of the filler (40), in which a resin film (31, 231) consisting of PET resin, an adhesive film (32, 132, 232) consisting of a copolymer of ?-olefin and an ethyleny unsaturated silane compound and a weather-resistant resin film (33, 133, 233) consisting of PVDF resin are laminated successively from the side of the solar cells (10).

  • Publication number: 20080121265
Abstract: A solar cell module includes: two solar cells, each including an photoelectric conversion body 10a, 10b having first and second main faces and generating photogenerated carriers, a first electrode provided on the first main face, and a second electrode provided on the first or second main face and having a polarity opposite to that of the first electrode; and a wiring member 2a for electrically connecting the first electrode of one of the two solar cells to the second electrode of the other solar cell. The first electrode has a plurality of finger electrodes for collecting the photogenerated carriers generated in the photoelectric conversion body 10a and a bus-bar electrode 11a for collecting the photogenerated carriers collected by the plurality of finger electrodes. The wiring member 2a is connected onto the bus-bar electrode 11a of the one solar cell through a connection layer 13 formed of a conductive resin containing conductive material.

  • Publication number: 20070227584
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a photovoltaic module that achieves a reduction in adverse influence of damage accumulated in a collector electrode provided on the light receiving surface side, and a method for manufacturing the photovoltaic module. To this end, in a photovoltaic module of the present invention, the degree of cross-linkage of the second region of the sealing material that is in contact with the back surface of the solar cell is smaller than that of the first region of the sealing material that is in contact with the light receiving surface of the solar cell.

  • Publication number: 20060219292
Abstract: Solar cells and methods of their manufacture are described that exhibit decreased or eliminated leak current, improved open voltage and improved fill factor characteristics. In an embodiment, a separate processed surface is interposed between a first and a second main surface of a crystal substrate, as prepared by laser irradiation and cut processing. The laser irradiation is applied to an amorphous semiconductor layer of the same conductive type as an underlying single crystal substrate, but does not penetrate an underlying amorphous opposite type layer. Details of lamination and laser characteristics for processing the layers are provided.
