Abstract: An air conditioner having an air-blowing and water-spattering fan, a condenser disposed on both sides of the fan in mutual confrontation, and one or more guide members to lead drain water to each condenser, wherein each guide member is disposed on the ceiling surface of the air conditioning apparatus contiguous with the top part of each condenser to enable the drain water flowing on and along the ceiling surface to be uniformly distributed over substantially the entire width of the condensers on the top part thereof.

Abstract: An air conditioner is provided with a wind direction changing device of a construction, wherein one end of a connecting rod is pivotally fixed to one end of an arm of a sliding rod which performs reciprocating movement by converting the rotational movement of an electric motor, and the other end of the connecting rod is pivotally fitted in one of the holes formed in a multi-perforated plate having a plurality of holes, the plate being formed integrally with one of a plurality of wind direction changing pates which are freely oscillatable around a pivotal point as a center of oscillation thereof.

Abstract: An integral type air conditioning device has a refrigerator in a room interior side which is defined by a partition plate. Drain water condensed by the refrigerator is led to a room exterior side of the air conditioning device to be splashed onto a condenser for evaporation by a slinger ring formed integrally with a propeller fan. There are provided in the air conditioning device a fan cover to form a room exterior air course with said condenser and said propeller fan arranged on a base member and inhibiting means formed integrally with, or attach to, said fan cover to prevent drain water drops splashed by said slinger ring from dropping onto said propeller fan.

Abstract: A wind-shifting apparatus for an air conditioner has a plurality of pivotably supported wind-shifting plates disposed in front of a main body of the air conditioner for changing a direction and blow angle of wind emitted from the air conditioner main body. A drive source having a rotatable shaft is coupled to one of the wind-shifting plates through a movable plate and an arm which convert the rotary motion of the drive source into pivotable, rotary motion of one of the wind-shifting plates.
