  • Patent number: 5994645
Abstract: There is provided a guide frame 10 having a small width and a triangular or other shape. An insertion opening 10e and a withdrawal opening 10g for a wiring harness DW/H are formed in spaced-apart positions of the guide frame 10. The wiring harness DW/H is fixedly inserted through the insertion opening 10e of the guide frame 10 and withdrawn through the withdrawal opening 10g after being arranged in a roundabout manner inside the guide frame 10. The guide frame 10 is fixed to either one of a door D and a body C, and the leading end of the wiring harness DW/H withdrawn from the guide frame 10 through the withdrawal opening 10g is extended to the other of the door D and the body C, so that the wiring harness D.multidot.W/H comes from and returns into the guide frame 10 according to opening and closing movements of the door D.

  • Patent number: 5603631
Abstract: A plug (2) that includes a plug frame (7) is inserted into an opening of a housing (4) and is retained by a pair of spring-like detent pieces (6) extending into the opening. Projecting portions (6a) on the detent pieces engage recess portions (15) on right and left hand sides of the plug frame. A cylindrical lug (13) is slidably mounted on the plug frame and includes an opening portion (14) and inclined surfaces (17) to permit plug removal. The inclined surfaces (17) serve as cams to lift the projection portions (6a) out of the recess portions (15) when the lug is moved rearwardly. A stopper (3) is insertable into the plug frame to block such rearward sliding motion of the lug on the frame to prevent removal of the plug from the housing. The stopper may include a locking inward projection (3d) for engaging a hole (13b) bored in the lug to block rearward motion of the lug on the plug frame.

  • Patent number: 5216733
Abstract: This invention presents a method and an apparatus for adjusting the axial orientation angle between the principal axis of a polarization maintaining fiber (PMF) and a ferrule with ease and precision. The invented ferrule is composed of a ferrule body, having a through hole into which a PMF is inserted, and a ring-shaped flange, having a keyway on the circumferential rim, installed on the outer periphery of the ferrule body. An engaging part is provided on the periphery to restrain the forward movement of the ferrule body by engaging with the flange. The invented ferrule enables adjustment of the axial angle, between the principal axis of the PMF and the keyway of the flange, to be made after adhesively bonding the PMF onto the ferrule body and polishing the end of the fiber. Therefore, the axial angle adjustment is carried out conveniently and accurately, without being affected by the processing effects, such as curing of the adhesive.

  • Patent number: 4895425
Abstract: In a plug-in connector for connecting elements mounted on a backage board to other elements arranged on a back wiring board disposed perpendicular to the package board, the guide pin and the connector housing fixing screw are formed integral with each other to realize a floating connector coupling structure which is high in mounting efficiency and precision and small in size. Further, the plug-in connector can connect two different, optical and electrical connectors. Further, there is disclosed a novel optical connector plug whose radial eccentricity direction can be matched with that of a mated optical connector jack with an optical fiber aligning jig to minimize the optical fiber coupling power loss.
