  • Publication number: 20120222796
Abstract: A fluororesin coating layer fusion-bonded directly to a base member or to a rubber layer on a base member can be formed by conducting heating for a significantly short time. A fluororesin-coated roller or belt that has a fluororesin coating layer with few defects and a rubber layer underneath whose thermal deterioration is suppressed is provided. The production method therefor include a step of inserting a base member or a rubber-coated base member including a base member and at least a rubber layer on the outer peripheral surface of the base member into an empty space of a thermally shrinkable fluororesin tube; a preliminary shrinking step conducted according to need; a pressure fusion-bonding step of bringing the base member or rubber-coated base member into contact with a hot plate surface heated to a temperature in a range of 250° C. to 400° C.

  • Publication number: 20110236691
Abstract: A method for producing a fixing-unit member including a base, a rubber elastic layer, and a PFA layer includes a step of forming a primer layer by applying a primer containing a low-melting fluorocarbon resin to the outer circumferential surface of a rubber roller having the rubber elastic layer on the outer circumferential surface of the base; a step of sheathing the rubber roller with a thermally shrinkable tube formed by diametrically expanding a PFA tube so as to have an inner diameter more than the outer diameter of the rubber roller; a step of forming the PFA layer from the thermally shrinkable tube by heating the thermally shrinkable tube so as to be thermally shrunken and fused with the rubber roller; and a reheating step of heating the PFA layer to a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the PFA contained in the PFA layer.

  • Patent number: 7927096
Abstract: A heat treatment apparatus includes a support sheet placed on an upper surface of a heat-treating plate. The support sheet has, formed on an upper surface thereof, projections for contacting and supporting a substrate, and a lip for contacting edge regions of the substrate. The support sheet is formed by an etching process, and therefore areas of the sheet around the projections are recessed, rather than being perforated as in the case of laser processing. These heat-treating plate and support sheet constitute a substrate support structure capable of supporting the substrate properly.

  • Patent number: 7225854
Abstract: In a process of pouring molten metal under pressure into a die cavity C through a pouring gate G, a molten metal pressure in a part of the die cavity to be filled with the molten metal later than the rest thereof, or in the vicinity of the part, is detected by a first pressure sensor S5, and a cavity backpressure in the part of the die cavity to be filled with the molten metal later than the rest thereof, or in the vicinity of the part is detected by a backpressure sensor 12. Then, a pouring rate of the molten metal is controlled in accordance with changes in the respective detected pressures.

  • Patent number: 7139638
Abstract: A thermal processing unit is connected to a substrate position detector, which is in turn connected to a bake unit controller. The thermal processing unit includes a temperature control plate and a lifting device. The temperature control plate and lifting device are connected to the bake unit controller. The operations of the temperature control plate and lifting device are controlled by the bake unit controller. A pressure measuring pipe is provided at a lower part of at least one of a plurality of pin inserting holes in the temperature control plate. The pressure measuring pipe is connected to a low differential pressure sensor. The low differential pressure sensor detects the pressure in an airflow exhausted from a space surrounded by a substrate and an upper face of the temperature control plate via the pressure measuring pipe.

  • Patent number: 5069148
Abstract: A trouser-fly piece serging apparatus includes a guide unit disposed upstream of a serging station and composed of a first elongate guide member extending at an angle relative to the path of movement of a trouser-fly piece being advanced by a serging unit, and a second elongate guide member extending parallel to the path of movement of the trouser-fly piece. The trouser-fly piece is guided by the first guide member into the serging station so that a trimming cutter disposed immediately upstream of the serging unit assumes a position to conform to a curvature of the leading end of a substantially arcuate trimming line passing across a corner of the leading end of the trouser-fly piece. Synchronous operation of the serging unit and the trimming cutter causes the trouser-fly piece to turn in one direction during which an arcuate corner which is trimmed by the trimming cutter and subsequently serged by the serging unit is automatically produced on the leading end of the trouser-fly piece.

  • Patent number: 4979450
Abstract: In a sewing of successive substantially rectangular fly pieces to a continuous slide fastener chain on a sewing machine, a corner of the leading end of the individual fly piece is automatically folded as the fly piece is advanced toward a sewing station defined by the sewing machine, then two plies of the folded corner are joined with a line of stitches when the fly piece is sewn to the slide fastener chain by the same stitches. A longitudinal edge of the fly pieces is serged with a line of overedge stitches running across the folded corner.
