  • Patent number: 5800426
Abstract: A high frequency heating power device for an implanted device comprises a switch circuit, an input/output circuit, a high-frequency signal generating circuit, and a check circuit. When a high frequency output circuit applies a high frequency measuring voltage between a guide wire and the body ground board, a voltage is detected which corresponds to the impedance of a circuit which is made up of lead wires, the guide wire, the patient's body, and the body grounding board. It is determined by a discriminating circuit whether or not the voltage thus detected is in a predetermined allowable voltage range. The operator is informed of the discrimination by means of a display circuit and a buzzer circuit, so that he can determine the position of the end of the guide wire with respect to the end of the catheter with ease.

  • Patent number: 5247944
Abstract: A skin movement detector is disclosed which comprises a case having an opening; a pressure-sensitive element having a diaphragm portion and disposed within the case; and a contact probe, made of a soft member, for contacting a skin surface, the contact probe being attached to the case so as to cover the opening and having a projecting portion contacting the diaphragm portion; the contact probe including a plate portion adapted to contact the skin, a base portion, and a leg portion connecting the plate portion and the base portion. The skin movement detector may also include regulating means positioned at an outer periphery of the projecting portion for contacting the diaphragm support portion peripherally when a force exceeding a predetermined value is applied to the contact probe. The skin movement detector thus provides high sensitivity in all directions across the skin and prevents excessive displacement of the diaphragm.

  • Patent number: 4775578
Abstract: The invention provides an electrothermal hot-melt type thermal transfer ink ribbon having a multi-layered structure used in thermal printers having a multi-stylus electrode head. Different from conventional ink ribbons of such a type composed of an electroconductive base film as a resistive layer, a vapor-deposited aluminum layer to serve as an electric pass to a return electrode and a layer of a hot-melt ink, the inventive ink ribbon has an additional layer as a heat barrier between the aluminum layer and the hot-melt ink layer so that the heat generated in the resistive base film and reaching the ink layer is radially diffused to produce a remarkable temperature gradient within the dot decreasing from the center to the periphery thus to provide a possibility of gradation control of the optical density of the printed dots by means of the voltage adjustment.

  • Patent number: 4644157
Abstract: An optical rotation detecting apparatus for a bushless dc motor detects rotation information of the shaft by the slits arranged at equal pitches along the circumference of a rotary disk and a photoelectric conversion element arranged circumferentially at a pitch which is an integral multiple of the slit pitch and including a first set of photoelectric conversion element pieces arranged alternately with the former thereby generating a first rotation information signal having a frequency proportional to the rotational speed of the shaft and a second rotation information signal having a 90-degree phase difference with the first rotation information signal. The phases of the first and second rotation information signals are compared to detect the direction of rotation of the shaft. The accuracy of rotation information can be further improved by increasing the number of photoelectric conversion element pieces per slit pitch.
