    Abstract: A silicon-containing steel sheet having a low iron loss has such a crystal structure that crystal grains having an inclination angle of {110} face of not more than 10.degree. with respect to the sheet surface are included in an amount of not less than 80 vol % and exhibit a graining surface pattern in which boundaries of these crystal grains form stepwise difference or groove of not less than 0.4 .mu.m as a maximum height. This sheet is produced by subjecting a grain oriented silicon steel sheet after final annealing to a magnetically smoothening treatment by electrolysis in an squeous solution containing at least one of water soluble halides.

    Abstract: A throttle control apparatus for use with an automotive internal combustion engine. The apparatus assures that the drive wheels are stopped from spinning on a snowy road surface if the driver pushes down on the accelerator pedal. The apparatus comprises an accelerator operation mechanism including the accelerator pedal, a first throttle-driving means capable of opening and closing the throttle valve, a controller, a second driving means, and a fuel-cutting means. The first throttle-driving means is mounted independent of the accelerator operation mechanism and includes a driving plate, a clutch plate, and a movable yoke. The controller controls the first throttle-driving means to adjust the throttle opening. When the first throttle-driving means becomes inoperative, the throttle valve can be driven by the accelerator operation mechanism via the second throttle-driving means. The fuel-cutting means is operated when excessive spin of the drive wheels is detected.

    Abstract: A feed path for transporting a button body with the front face of a buttonhead facing upward is disposed between a trough, which is formed longitudinally on the underside of an upper member and has a receiving surface on its one side receiving a part of the periphery of the buttonhead, and a pressuring surface of a lower member, which faces the receiving surface and is urged resiliently upward. According to a preferable embodiment, the pressuring surface is inclined relatively downward and away from the periphery of the rear face of the buttonhead and has a recess on its side to allow a tongue to rotate. While the button body is pushed by the pusher along the feed path, a part of the periphery of the buttonhead is pressed by the pressuring surface. Accordingly, friction force is increased there to facilitate that the button body can be transported while it rotates about its axis.

    Abstract: A method for obtaining grain-oriented silicon steel sheet with a very high magnetic flux density and a very low core loss by setting specific conditions for the decarburization and primary recrystallization annealing step within the series of steps performed for the manufacture of the grain-oriented silicon steel sheet. This method consists of setting the rate of temperature rise in the decarburization and primary recrystallization annealing step at no less than 10.degree. C./sec, dividing the decarburization and primary recrystallization annealing step into a first half and a second half, and restricting the temperature, time, and ratio P.sub.H.sbsb.2.sub.O /P.sub.H.sbsb.2 of the partial pressure of H.sub.2 O to the partial pressure of H.sub.2 of the atmosphere for each of these two halves within certain predefined ranges.

The first fuel cells are arranged both in a central zone of the core disposed within about one-half the core radius from the center of the core and in a circumferential zone of the core outside the central zone. The second fuel cells are arranged only in the central zone and no second fuel cells are arranged in the circumferential zone.

    Abstract: There is provided a novel initial core arrangement of a nuclear reactor. The fuel assemblies in the central region of the reactor core occupying more than 50% of the total area of the reactor core are grouped into a plurality of fuel units each of which being constituted by four adjacent fuel assemblies. The fuel assemblies in each fuel unit are replaced one by one at each fuel replacement cycle with a new fuel assembly. The initial core is so arranged that each fuel unit has one gadolinia containing high enrichment fuel assembly and three low enrichment fuel assemblies containing no gadolinea. This arrangement permits a stable reactor operation substantially equivalent to that obtained in the state of equilibrium (equilibrium core), even with an initial core.

    Abstract: A pull tab attachment tool comprises a pair of first and second levers connected together for pivotal movement and having respectively first and second handle portions and opposed jaw portions extending from their one ends. The second lever has a roller. A third lever is pivotally connected to the first lever. An urging means acts between the first and third levers to normally urge them apart so that the third lever is held in rolling engagement with the roller. When the first and second handle portions are manually actuated to move toward each other, the opposed jaw portions are brought into engagement with each other to provide a first pressing structure, and one end of the third lever is brought into engagement with the one end of the first lever through the rolling action of the roller along the third lever to provide a second pressing structure.
