  • Publication number: 20070206538
Abstract: A controller manages a connection of a wireless terminal to a wireless base station, and provides a source base station with information for connecting the wireless terminal by way of an anchor when the wireless terminal moves between wireless base stations. When devices on both sides of an anchor connected communication are wireless terminals connected to wireless base stations in said same wireless communications system, a wireless base station device switches a path such that data is transmitted/received between the wireless base stations to which the wireless terminals are connected on both sides of the anchor connected communication without intervention of the anchor.

  • Publication number: 20070121605
Abstract: A telephone relay system enabling a terminal having multiple telephone numbers to originate and receive calls same as a terminal having only one telephone number is provided. When a connection management unit of an agent device receives a call request from a terminal device, it activates a terminal calling unit while designating a current telephone number and also activates a counterpart calling unit to establish a terminal-side connection between the current telephone number of the terminal device and the agent device and a counterpart-side connection between the agent device and the counterpart terminal. When an incoming call from the counterpart terminal arrives, the connection management unit establishes a counterpart-side connection corresponding to the incoming call, and activates the terminal calling unit while designating the current telephone number to establish a terminal-side connection.

  • Publication number: 20060277602
Abstract: By conducting cryptographic communication after establishing a session to monitor the cryptographic communication between a server and a firewall, it is possible that the firewall monitors and controls the contents of the communication without changing an existing cryptographic communication protocol. There are hence provided a communication method, a communication system, a program, and a recording medium in which without changing an existing cryptographic communication protocol, the firewall can monitor and control the communication contents.

  • Publication number: 20060171379
Abstract: There is provided a movement management system which can continue the communication even if a mobile node moves to a network where a device which imposes restrictions on communication exists. The movement management server establishes a session between with a mobile node, manages information on association of a fixed ID of the mobile node with the established session, and mediates communication using fixed IDs of respective nodes between a mobile node and a communication partner node. Therefore, the movement management server comprises a session transmitting and receiving portion which communicates by establishing a session between with the mobile node, a network transmitting and receiving portion which communicates with the communication partner node, and a management processing portion which manages information on the mobile node, and performs transfer processing of a packet.

  • Publication number: 20060120340
Abstract: A mobile communication system includes a management agent, server, and temporary server. The management agent manages the destination of a mobile node. The server serves as a communication partner of the mobile node. The temporary server has a network function equivalent to that of the server. The management agent includes a position registration unit which registers position information of the destination of the mobile node when the mobile node moves, and a server function relocation unit which sets the temporary server as the communication partner of the mobile node instead of the server. A management agent apparatus and server function moving method are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7000248
Abstract: A virtual network of the present invention includes an external network including a repeat server, and a first and a second private network each including a respective firewall that is connectable only to the repeat server. The first and second private networks respectively further include a first and a second router configured to report respective destinations of data to the repeat server for interchanging data with each other. The repeat server repeats, in accordance with the destinations reported, data received from the first router to the second router and repeats data received from the second router to the first router. A virtual network connection system is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20050266850
Abstract: The present invention provides a radio communication system that enables handovers between radio base stations to be conducted at a short time using a mobile communication terminal having one radio communication part. A pseudo radio communication control part in a mobile communication terminal links with a packet transfer part and a remote radio control part in a radio bridge device to enable operation as though a radio communication part disposed in the radio bridge device were directly connected to the mobile communication terminal. Thus, even when radio communication parts are disposed in a plurality of terminals, by using the pseudo radio communication control part instead of a radio communication control part, an application can carry out control as though all the radio communication parts were connected in the same terminal.

  • Publication number: 20040252708
Abstract: A mobile unit managing network is provided which is capable of supporting a communication area being wider than ever by one highest-layer router. A radio base station transfers a path updating notification fed from a mobile terminal to a lowest-layer router. The lowest-layer router establishes a path in which a network address to the mobile terminal exists in the radio base station and transfers path information to an intermediate-layer router serving as an upward router. The intermediate-layer router establishes a path in which the network address to the mobile terminal exists in the lowest-layer router and transfers path information to the highest-layer router. The highest-layer router, when having received path information notification from the intermediate-layer router, establishes a path in which the network address to the mobile terminal exists in the intermediate-layer router.
