Abstract: A resistance welding machine includes a first electrode and a second electrode which are configured so that the first and second electrodes can hold a workpiece therebetween and apply a current to the workpiece. The first electrode includes a first inner electrode and a first outer electrode disposed outside the first inner electrode at a predetermined interval. The second electrode includes a second inner electrode and a second outer electrode disposed outside the second inner electrode at a predetermined interval. The resistance welding machine further includes a control unit that can control a pressing state of the workpiece with the first and second electrodes according to predetermined welding conditions and selects a pair of electrodes that apply a current to the workpiece from the first inner electrode, the first outer electrode, the second inner electrode, and the second outer electrode.
Abstract: A heat recovery system includes a plurality of heat source portions; a heat exchanger connected to the heat source portions via a primary flow path portion through which a first fluid flows, and configured to perform heat exchange between the first fluid and a second fluid; a valve mechanism configured to select a flow path that connects the heat exchanger and the heat source portions; and a power generation unit connected to the heat exchanger via a secondary flow path portion through which the second fluid flows, and configured to generate electric power using the second fluid. Timing of a temperature rise of the first fluid in one heat source portion is different from that in another heat source portion. The valve mechanism operates in accordance with the timing of the temperature rise of the first fluid in each of the heat source portions.

Abstract: A battery pack includes battery modules and a base member on which the battery modules are mounted. The battery modules include a plurality of unit cells are stacked in a thickness direction, have a flat shape and positive and negative terminals for transferring input and output of electric power. The terminals are disposed on an opposite side of the base member side in the battery module. The unit cells include a cell body that includes a power generation element and an electrode tab. The battery module includes a pair of first cover members in the stacking direction and a pair of second cover members in a direction that intersects with the stacking direction and that intersects with a direction in which the electrode tab extends. The second cover members are joined to the first cover members while the stacked unit cells are pressurized in the stacking direction.
Abstract: A joining apparatus is an apparatus for performing joining of a joining target object including multiple members stacked on each other and a thermosetting adhesive arranged on joining target portions of the multiple members. The joining apparatus includes a first electrode; a second electrode; a pressurization mechanism configured to cause the first and second electrodes to pressure-contact the surface of the joining target object in the vicinity of the joining target portions; a power source configured to distribute power to between the first electrode and the second electrode; and a control unit configured to distribute the power to between both electrodes by the power source in a state in which the first electrode and the second electrode pressure-contact the surface by the pressurization mechanism, thereby performing joining of the joining target object by curing of the thermosetting adhesive by resistance heating generated at the joining target object.

The fixed and movable scroll oil grooves communicate with each other without communicating with the fluid chamber in a first operation. The movable scroll oil groove simultaneously communicates with the fixed scroll oil groove and the fluid chamber in a second operation after the first operation.
