  • Publication number: 20130235401
Abstract: To suppressing part of an image not being recorded even when the image to be recorded does not fit in an area defined by the top, bottom, left, and right margins set by an application. [Solution] If the size of the image to be recorded is larger than the application-specified area defined by the margins when image information including information denoting margins on cut-sheet paper is input from an application execution unit, the printer driver execution unit of the host computer virtually enlarges the positions of the sides of the cut-sheet paper, and generates and outputs to the printer a control command to record the image described by the image data in an enlarged area, which is an area defined by sides separated by the margin from the virtually enlarged sides.

  • Patent number: 8469170
Abstract: When a pulley and an armature are coupled with each other, first and second permanent magnets place the movable member at a location where a magnetic resistance of an attracting magnetic circuit, which generates an attracting magnetic force to couple between the pulley and the armature, is reduced. In contrast, when the pulley and the armature are decoupled from each other, the movable member is placed at a location where the magnetic resistance of the attracting magnetic circuit is increased, and a magnetic resistance of a non-attracting magnetic circuit is reduced. Thereby, a coupled state or a decoupled state of the pulley and the armature can be maintained without an erroneous operation.

Abstract: A magnetic device includes a cylindrical portion and a flange portion. The cylindrical portion is mounted with a cylindrical shaped flexible sleeve. The sleeve is axially longer than the cylindrical portion and includes an outer peripheral concavo-convex portion. When one end of the sleeve is abutted on a flange portion, the other end of the sleeve is projected above an attractive surface to form a keeper housing recess. The sleeve is relatively moved in an axial direction of the magnetic device to be inserted into and removed from a top end of the cylindrical portion. The magnetic device is used under condition the sleeve is fitted, an outer side surface of the magnetic device including the outer peripheral concavo-convex portion of the sleeve and the flange portion abutted on the one end of the sleeve is embedded in a denture base, and the keeper housing recess is exposed.
