  • Patent number: 7962025
Abstract: An imager comprising is provided having an image-capturing device, a display, and a view angle controller. The first in-focus detector is movable with respect to a stationary platform, and detects whether a subject image is in focus of an image sensor. The shake detector detects a shake transmitted to the first in-focus detector. The first driver repositions the first in-focus detector with respect to the stationary platform according to a shake detected by the shake detector. The first in-focus detector provided on an in-focus light path is different from a photographing light path on which light is directed to the image sensor, and detects whether a subject image is in focus using incoming light along the in-focus light path.

  • Publication number: 20100321517
Abstract: An imager is provided having an imaging sensor and a focusing detector. The imaging sensor reads stored charges in a positive or negative direction and outputs image data created from the read charges. The comparator calculates a differential between first image data output by said imaging sensor and second image data output by the imaging sensor immediately after the first image data is output, and determines whether the differential is larger than a first threshold value. The composer creates composite image data from the data of two images output by the imaging sensor. In the case that the comparator determines that the differential is larger than the first threshold value the composer creates composite image data from the second image data and negatively scanned image data that is obtained by scanning the second image in the negative direction, which is opposite to the scanning direction of the second image data.

  • Publication number: 20100321557
Abstract: An imager is provided having an imaging sensor and a focusing detector. The imaging sensor outputs image signals that have charges stored in one line of pixels. The focusing detector detects whether a subject image is in focus on said imaging sensor based on contrast values of frame image data for one image frame formed by the image signals. The imaging sensor changes a charge-storing period that is a time period for storing charges in a pixel, and lengthens the charge-storing period in the case of taking pictures under photographing conditions in which movement of a subject is expected.

  • Publication number: 20100315544
Abstract: An imager is provided having an imaging sensor, a pupil divider and a display. The imaging sensor photographs a subject image obtained through a photographing lens, and outputs image data. The pupil divider has shutters positioned in a light path between the photographing lens and the imaging sensor. The display displays an image using the image data photographed by the imaging sensor. The shutters periodically blocks part of the light path. The imaging sensor outputs multiple image data by photographing a subject image passing through a light path that is not blocked by the shutters. The display displays multiple image data that is compensated for shifts between subject images in the multiple image data.

  • Publication number: 20100290322
Abstract: A digital media player integrated into the housing of the cassette adapter. A cassette shaped housing of a cassette adapter includes a removable portion suitable for accommodating a digital media player in place of the portion when removed. In a most preferred embodiment, the media player is an Apple iPod Shuffle. The digital media player is affixed and integrated into the housing by means of a groove, and is connected to the record-head of the adapter by an electronic coupling means capable of transmitting an audio signal; for instance, a TSR connector or stereo jack plug. Control means for the iPod Shuffle or other media player, including but not limited to play mode, track selection, and volume, can alternatively be integrated into the housing of the adapter, or can be embodied in a separate control housing connected to the circuitry in the main housing by a conducting cable.

  • Patent number: 7831091
Abstract: A pattern matching system, comprising a receiver, a comparison block, a calculation block, an output block, a ratio reading block, and a controller, is provided. A likeness value indicates how much a first and second image accords to each other. The receiver receives first and second image signal corresponding to the first and second images as an area signal. The comparison block compares the signal levels of the area signals corresponding to the pattern areas at the relatively same location of the first and second images. The calculation block calculates the likeness value. The ratio reading block reads a amplification ratio by which the first and second image signals are amplified. The controller changes the type of the signal components of the area signal used for the comparison by the comparison block and the calculation of the likeness value by the calculation block.

  • Publication number: 20100276024
Abstract: A safety valve device has a safety valve body configured to include a valve mechanism opened at a temperature of or over a preset reference temperature. The safety valve device also includes a gas flow path arranged to make a flow of hydrogen flowing out of a hydrogen tank via the safety valve body in a valve open position of the valve mechanism, and a discharge pipe configured to have a hydrogen discharge opening and arranged to discharge the hydrogen flowing through the gas flow path to the outside. The hydrogen discharge opening of the discharge pipe is formed to discharge the hydrogen in an oblique direction relative to a direction of an axial center of the gas flow path. The discharge pipe also has a groove formed to apply an input rotational force to the discharge pipe and thereby rotate the discharge pipe around the axial center of the gas flow path.

  • Patent number: 7812861
Abstract: An imaging device controller that controls an imaging device, comprising a detector and a driver, is provided. The imaging device is mounted in an image capturing apparatus. The image capturing apparatus has plural functions. The detector detects that the first function among the functions is carried out. The driver orders the imaging device to capture an optical image in a first interval before or after a detection period. The detector is detecting that the first function is carried out during the detection period. The driver orders the imaging device to capture an optical image in a second interval during the detected-period. The second interval is longer than the first interval.

  • Patent number: 7796874
Abstract: An imaging system, comprising a battery checker, an anti-shake controller, and an image processor, is provided. The imaging system is able to carry out mechanical and electronic anti-shake functions. The battery checker detects available charge of a battery. The anti-shake controller orders the mechanical anti-shake function to be carried out if the available charge is greater than a first threshold value. The anti-shake controller orders the electronic anti-shake function to be carried out if the available charge is less than the first threshold value. The image processor treats an image captured in a second area in the imaging area as a captured moving image while the mechanical anti-shake function is carried out. The size of the second area is second size, which is determined according to the available charge.

  • Publication number: 20100208220
Abstract: When a self-cleaning method for an aligner is carried out, a reflecting plate having a convex lens portion is set in an original plate holder, and exposure light rays are irradiated from a light source. The surface of the lens portion is coated with a reflective film. The light rays are reflected by the reflecting plate, diffused, and emitted onto the surface of a condenser lens, thereby breaking down and removing contaminants that are adhered to the surface of the condenser lens. The light rays also enter the interior of the condenser lens to clean away contaminants that are adhered to locations other than a normal exposure path. When a concave mirror and/or a reflecting plate having 50% transmittance is used as the reflecting plate, the emission range of the light rays (i.e., the locations that are cleaned) can be changed.
