  • Publication number: 20050187052
Abstract: A belt tension adjusting device composed to ease positive detection of plastic elongation of belt is proposed. The time for the belt to be replaced by new one can be recognized in early stages and accurately. The plastic elongation of the belt can be detected visually from the front or upper side of an engine without unsighted by the auto-tensioner (automatic belt tension adjuster) and the belt. Further, workability of replacing belt is improved. The device comprises a crank pulley (1), accessory drive pulleys, a belt looped over the pulleys, a tension pulley (5), an actuator (32), a connecting arm (8), an auto-tensioner (3) for adjusting belt tension automatically, an indicating member which is attached to the moving end of the actuator (32) to move in conjunction with the moving end, and an detecting member for detecting the position of the indicating member, whereby the plastic elongation of belt can be estimated by detecting the position of the indicating member visually.

  • Patent number: 6536586
Abstract: A combination vessel is capable of carrying out temporary fastening while always bringing down a ring portion subsequently to breakage of a bridge part during an opening operation. A cap portion and a ring portion of a cap type sealing tool are coupled to each other through a bridge part. Through breakage of the bridge part during opening of the cap portion, the ring portion is pulled down while a sliding protrusion on an internal wall in a lower stage area of the ring portion always contacts by pressure an upward spread zone on an external wall of a neck zone of a bottle portion.

  • Publication number: 20010019022
Abstract: To develop a combination vessel capable of carrying out temporary fastening while always bringing down a ring portion subsequently to breakage of a bridge part during opening. A cap portion (11) and a ring portion (12) in a cap type sealing tool (1) are coupled to each other through a bridge part (13). Through breakage of the bridge part during opening, the ring portion is pulled down while a sliding protrusion (12uc) on an internal wall in a lower stage area of the ring portion always interposes an upward spread zone (2nx) on an external wall of a neck zone of a bottle portion (2) by pressure. In addition, a vertical convex to block the opening turn (12rc) provided on an inner periphery of the ring portion and a vertical convex (2rc) to block opening turn provided on the external wall (2rz) of the neck zone of the bottle portion do not block attachment of the cap type sealing tool (1) but blocks accompanied rotation of the ring portion during the opening of the cap portion, thereby breaking the bridge part.

  • Patent number: 6279825
Abstract: An electronic transaction terminal, in which a memory for information for storing therein an identification number inputted from a ten-key and a power unit for memory for supplying power to this memory for information are connected to each other with a film for printed pattern wiring (FPC). The FPC is placed throughout the internal surface of a security case. If someone tries to make a hole on the security case, any point of the wiring pattern of the FPC is cut off. For this reason, power supply to the memory for information is shut down and data on the memory for information is deleted.

  • Patent number: 6071111
Abstract: A mold assembly for forming a lens blank which gives a contact lens includes an upper and a lower mold half which cooperate with each other to define a substantially fluid-tight mold cavity when the two halves are assembled together. The mold cavity is filled with a monomer liquid which is polymerized to provide the lens blank that is to be subjected to a cutting operation for forming a base and a front curved surface of the contact lens. The upper mold half includes a flexible thin-walled portion which has a downwardly convex shape and which partially defines the mold cavity. The thin-walled portion is deformable to absorb expansion or shrinkage of the monomer liquid during polymerization thereof in the mold cavity. The lower mold half includes a base portion at which the lower mold half is clamped by a chuck of a lathe during the cutting operation. A mold portion of the lower mold half has a molding surface which is provided with a recess or protrusion for holding the lens blank on the lower mold half.
