  • Patent number: 8052066
Abstract: A hybrid vehicle can be driven using both of respective driving forces from an engine and a motor. A heating mechanism of an air conditioning apparatus uses thermal energy from cooling water of the engine to heat the interior of a passenger compartment. An ECU takes into consideration engine efficiency from the standpoint of fuel economy enhancement to primarily determine the driving force share ratio between the engine and the motor. Further, the ECU calculates a preset temperature corresponding to a cooling water temperature necessary for desired heating as well as a control target temperature in which the preset temperature is reflected, and corrects the primarily determined driving force share ratio to increase the share of the driving force of the engine by an amount according to a deviation between the cooling water temperature measured by a water temperature sensor and the control target temperature. Heating performance can thus be ensured promptly without deterioration of fuel economy.

  • Patent number: 8042818
Abstract: An electric damper which does not transmit unbalance wheel vibration to a vehicle body is provided. A low-pass cutoff frequency setting unit and a high-pass cutoff frequency setting unit respectively set the cutoff frequencies for band-stop filters to a frequency band corresponding to unbalance wheel vibration based on a signal indicating a vehicle speed from a vehicle speed sensor, and a function as a band-stop filter comprising a low-pass filter computation unit, a high-pass filter computation unit and an adder is computed for a displacement rate of the vertical motion of a wheel calculated by a differentiating unit in a damper control unit. A damper control amount computation unit calculates a control amount of controlling an electric motor for a motor-driven damper based on the calculated filtered displacement rate, and outputs a control signal to a motor driving unit through a driving circuit output unit.

  • Publication number: 20110240400
Abstract: An electric power steering system includes a steering wheel, a rack-and-pinion type steering gear box connected to the steering wheel, a steering torque sensor, a pinion shaft, and a steering actuator mounted on the pinion shaft to assist a steering operation conducted by a driver. An overload preventing control is conducted so that a sum of a torque conversion value of an assist current and a steering torque detected by the steering torque sensor equal a predetermined threshold value. When the steering gear box has reached a stroke end, and the assist current or the steering torque is smaller than a predetermined threshold value, the overload preventing control is conducted using a threshold value that is less than the predetermined threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20110231066
Abstract: A q-axis target current setting unit generates a q-axis current command value based on a steering input signal from a steering torque sensor and a vehicle speed signal from a vehicle speed sensor. An electric motor generates a predetermined torque based on the q-axis current command value and a q-axis current (a torque current) to which a fed back q-axis real current is added. On the other hand, a d-axis correction current setting unit sets a field weakening current (a d-axis current) in response to a voltage saturation (duty ratio=driving voltage of electric motor/power supply voltage) output from a voltage saturation calculating unit. For this reason, when the voltage saturation becomes high, distortion (harmonics component) in current can be decreased by decreasing the voltage saturation while keeping the torque constant using a predetermined torque current, and a torque ripple can be suppressed.

  • Patent number: 7992672
Abstract: An electric power steering system includes a steering wheel, a rack-and-pinion type steering gear box connected to the steering wheel, a steering torque sensor, a pinion shaft, and a steering actuator mounted on the pinion shaft to assist a steering operation conducted by a driver. An overload preventing control is conducted so that a sum of a current conversion value of a steering torque detected by the steering torque sensor and an assist current calculated based on the steering torque becomes equal to a limit value. When the steering gear box has reached a stroke end, the assist current is prevented from excessively increasing, thereby preventing a reduction in durability of the steering gear box or a motor of the steering actuator.

  • Publication number: 20110118951
Abstract: When the variation of the KCS learning value is large, an ISC learning control is performed in a learning acceleration mode in which the amount of the ISC learning update is large and the ISC learning is performed at high speed. By thus performing the ISC learning control in the learning acceleration mode in which the ISC learning is performed at high speed, the ISC learning control can quickly follow up a great variation of the KCS learning value, and the time required for the ISC control value to converge to the most suitable one can be shortened. With this, the ISC learning control performed during idling of a hybrid car can be completed in a short time, and the fuel consumption enhancement effect by idling stop can be heightened.
