  • Publication number: 20170073937
Abstract: A system enables notification of a time for drainage of water from a water separator without adding a new element into the water separator. A hydraulic excavator has a feed line feeding fuel from a fuel tank to an engine, a water separator at a part of the feed line to separate fuel flowing through the feed line and water contained in the flowing fuel from each other, a water level detector detecting a level of separated water, and a notification device to provide notification of when the water level detected reaches a predetermined height. An operation determination device determines whether or not the hydraulic excavator is in operation, and a notification control device disables a notifying function of the notification device when it is determined that the hydraulic excavator is in operation and enables the notifying function when the hydraulic excavator is determined to be out of operation.

  • Patent number: 8881506
Abstract: A hydraulic drive system for a hydraulic working machine sets a delivery pressure at a preset value upon raising a temperature of exhaust gas to a temperature needed for combustion of particulate matter by increasing a load to be applied to an engine. In a non-operation state, a variable restrictor is controlled by a controller and a delivery pressure control valve to increase a delivery pressure of a variable displacement hydraulic pump, so that the load is increased to raise the temperature of exhaust gas to the temperature needed for the particulate matter combustion. At this time, the controller controls the delivery pressure control valve such that a delivery pressure to be detected by a delivery pressure sensor will conform with a preset reference delivery pressure. The reference delivery pressure is set to a minimum pressure that can provide the exhaust gas with combustion heat.

  • Publication number: 20140239090
Abstract: In the present invention, a cylinder chamber is provided in a main injector body having a nozzle that injects fuel. In the cylinder chamber, a command piston for driving a needle that opens and closes the nozzle is reciprocably received. A cleaning liquid supply pathway for supplying cleaning liquid and a cleaning liquid discharge pathway for discharging cleaning liquid are connected to the cylinder chamber. As a result, adhesive accretions in the cylinder chamber of the main injector body are discharged out of the cylinder chamber together with the cleaning liquid, and therefore it is possible to prevent a negative effect resulting from the adhesive accretions without using an additive or the like.

  • Patent number: 8708087
Abstract: A fuel tank (12) is constructed such that a front flange portion (14A1) of a top surface plate (14A) of a second plate (14) extends outside in relation to a front surface plate (13B) of a first plate (13). As a result, a front surplus space (15A) projected in the upper and lower directions in a range of the front flange portion (14A1) of the top surface plate is formed in the front surface side of the front surface plate. A urea water tank (24) is arranged along the fuel tank (12) in such a manner that a rear side portion thereof enters into the front surplus space. Therefore, the rear side portion of the urea water tank can enter into the front surplus space using the front surplus space formed in the fuel tank (12), thereby increasing the tank capacity without downsizing the article accommodating box (16).

  • Patent number: 8672082
Abstract: A urea water tank (23) is arranged in a cab (10) at which an operator boards, thereby making it possible to arrange urea water under a preferred temperature environment for preventing freeze and crystallization of the urea water. A water supply port (24A) is provided to be opened to a left surface portion (19C) of a cab box (19) constituting the cab (10) for supplying the urea water to the urea water tank (23) from an outside of the cab (10). Therefore, even in a case of resupplying the urea water to the urea water tank (23), an operator can easily resupply the urea water through a water supply hose (24) to the urea water tank (23) from the outside of the cab (10) without entering into the cab (10).

  • Patent number: 8646255
Abstract: An exhaust gas purification system for an engineering machine is capable of avoiding decreases in working efficiency during regeneration control by burning off a deposit of particulate matter from a filter efficiently during a work pause time. An operating section 17 of a display monitor 16 is used to set a work pause time and a work pause switch 13 notifies a vehicle body control unit 21 that the hydraulic excavator has entered a work pause state. In response, the vehicle body control unit 21 calculates the time required for a regenerating device to burn off the current amount of particulate matter deposited on the filter, and when the calculated time is longer than the preset work pause time, a regeneration controller 4a of an engine control unit 4 is activated, and a solenoid control valve 15 is switched to a closed position during the preset work pause time.

  • Patent number: 8365518
Abstract: An upstream cylinder (21) and a downstream cylinder (24) are fixedly mounted to a support member (19), and a filter cylinder (26) is provided mountably and dismountably between the cylinders (21) and (24). In consequence, only the filter cylinder (26) can be dismounted with the cylinders (21) and (24) left as they are on the support member (19), so that the maintenance operation of a particulate matter removing filter (28) can be performed easily. In addition, pressure conduits (32) and (33) and a pressure sensor (34) of a pressure detection unit (31) for detecting a clogged state of the particulate matter removing filter (28) are disposed at positions offset from a moving path (30) of the filter cylinder (26). In consequence, only the filter cylinder (26) can be easily mounted or dismounted without being obstructed by the pressure conduits (32) and (33) and the pressure sensor (34).

  • Publication number: 20120279203
Abstract: When an output value of an exhaust resistance sensor 34 has reached or exceeded a set value ?Pa, a controller 20 executes recovery control of a filter of an exhaust gas purification device 32 after conducting exhaust temperature increasing control by operating a pump discharge pressure increasing device (solenoid proportional valve) 38 so that exhaust gas temperature as an output value of an exhaust temperature sensor 33 reaches a preset value Ta. Thus, the recovery process of the exhaust gas purification device can be executed with reliability by increasing the exhaust gas temperature irrespective of the operating environment and the fuel consumption can be kept at a minimum necessary level.

  • Patent number: 8266903
Abstract: An engine lag down control system for construction machinery has a machinery body controller having first, second and third torque control units and a solenoid valve. The first torque control unit controls a torque control valve to a minimum pump torque corresponding to a target number of engine revolutions when a non-operated state of a control device has continued beyond a monitoring time. The second torque control unit controls the torque control valve such that the above-described minimum pump torque is held for a predetermined holding time subsequent to the operation of the control device from the non-operated state. The third torque control unit controls the torque control valve such that from a time point of a lapse of the predetermined holding time, the pump torque is gradually increased on a basis of a predetermined torque increment rate.

  • Patent number: 8186156
Abstract: A ureal water tank (28), a storage of an aqueous urea solution, is located within a utility room (6G) in a right front section of a revolving frame (6), which is readily accessible from outside. In this instance, among a plurality of operating oil conduits (18), a working mechanism operating conduit (21) which supplies operating oil to a boom cylinder (5D) of a working mechanism (5) is arranged to run along exterior surfaces of the ureal water tank (28). Therefore, even if the ureal water tank (28) is located in a place with no heat source, the aqueous urea solution in the ureal water tank (28) can be stably kept in a heated state by utilization of heat of operating oil in circulation through the working mechanism operating conduit (21).

  • Patent number: 8162618
Abstract: A current load rate of an engine 10 is computed and a maximum absorption torque of at least one hydraulic pump 1, 2 is controlled so that the load rate is held at a target value. Engine stalling can be prevented by decreasing the maximum absorption torque of the hydraulic pump under a high-load condition. When an engine output lowers due to environmental changes, the use of poor fuel or other reasons, the maximum absorption torque of the hydraulic pump can be decreased without a lowering of the engine revolution speed. Further, the present invention is adaptable for any kinds of factors causing a lowering of the engine output, such as those factors that cannot be predicted in advance or are difficult to detect by sensors. In addition, because of no necessity of sensors, such as environment sensors, the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
