Abstract: A content management system manages an original of electronic data content and is capable of handling increases in the volume of electronic data and maintains uniqueness of the original. Serial content management or processing history is managed by an original management device, and content data alone is archived on portable media with media IDs. Therefore, increases in the volume of electronic data can be easily handled, a history of updates to the original can be managed by the system, and uniqueness of the original can be confirmed by the media IDs because the medium-specific media IDs are treated as original data.

Abstract: The encryption processing apparatus includes a plurality of encryption processing units each of which executes an encryption processing. One encryption processing unit generates a key, encrypts the key, and delivers the encrypted key to the other encryption processing units. Each of the other encryption processing units decodes the received key and stores the key so that the keys stored in all the encryption processing units is same.

Abstract: A command from an upper device is transferred from a communicating section via three bus interfaces to three command control sections and a result of the command processing is transferred therethrough from each of the command control sections to the communicating section and, a diagnosis command is transferred from the communicating section via three diagnosis check paths to the command control sections and a result of the diagnosis is transferred therethrough from each of the command control section to the communicating section. A command received from the upper device is transferred to a command control section or command control sections confirmed as normal as a result of diagnosis for execution of the command processing.

Abstract: The memory backup device obtains power from four power supply systems having different voltages. These power supply systems are selectively employed based on their voltages. In operating, backup is performed by an internal battery as a first power supply system, or by power from a mainframe apparatus as a third or fourth power supply system. When the electronic device is to be stocked in a warehouse, only then, an external battery is connected as a second power supply system.

Abstract: When a sweeping process and a backup process are performed on an electronic library file in an electronic library, a file storing a history of the sweeping process or a history of a backup process is generated, and the sweeping and the backup processes are managed. Thus, a user can easily manage as to which medium an original document has been swept to or where a backup copy of the original document is. If the uniqueness of the original document shown in a sweep history and a backup history can be secured, the problem that there can be a plurality of original documents on the storage media of a plurality of electronic libraries can be avoided.

Abstract: An interrupt control system in which a main process device executes an interrupt process, having a high process priority. The process priority is registered in a table, corresponding to each interrupt generating source, and an intermediate process device receives an interrupt signal from each interrupt generating source, obtains the corresponding process priority from the table and informs the main process device of the interruption. Accordingly, the process priority can be easily changed, and the system has a small size because the interrupt circuit for the main process device is centralized.
