    Abstract: A method and a system for controlling a motor are provided to allow for a limp home function when an error occurs in a Hall effect sensor that detects the position of a rotor while operating a motor used for an automotive electric water pump. The method includes determining an output error of a Hall effect sensor and stopping adjustment a speed of the motor based on output of the Hall effect sensor, in response to detecting an output error of the Hall effect sensor. Additionally, the method includes adjusting the speed of the motor based on a counter electromotive force generated by a plurality of stator coils having different phases in the motor.

A method for manufacturing a steel sheet treated with the conversion coating composition is also provided.

    Abstract: A radiator for a vehicle is provided. The radiator includes a first header tank that has an inlet port formed at a first side thereof to allow a coolant to flow from an engine thereinto and an outlet port formed at a second side thereof to allow the coolant to flow to the engine. A second header tank is disposed apart from the first header tank. A heat-exchanging portion fluidly connects the inlet tank and the outlet tank and includes a plurality of tubes and radiation fins to cool the coolant flowing in the tubes by exchanging heat with air. A diaphragm unit is disposed at the inside of the first header tank to prevent the coolant which flows into the inlet port from being mixed with the coolant which is exhausted from the outlet port.

A battery module connects with the cooling device via a battery cooling line. A chiller connects with the refrigerant line via a first connection line and the battery cooling line via a second connection line, and adjusts cooling water temperature by selectively heat-exchanging cooling water and refrigerant. Another water pump is disposed on the battery cooling line between the battery module and the chiller and a heater is disposed on the battery cooling line between the other water pump and the battery module.
