A user equipment (UE) may determine whether a first subset of a first set of uplink channel transmission repetitions overlaps with a downlink transmission and determine whether to transmit a second subset of the first set of uplink channel transmission repetitions when the first subset overlaps with the downlink transmission. In some aspects, the second subset includes one or more uplink channel transmission repetitions that do not overlap with the downlink transmission. The UE may transmit, to a base station over an uplink channel, a second set of uplink channel transmission repetitions having the first subset and the second subset of the first set of uplink channel transmission repetitions when the second subset is determined to be transmitted. Thus, the reliability of uplink repetitions can be increased.

After data packets are sent to the data transmission system, if the target terminal is in an idle mode, a paging message is sent by a terminal wake-up module to enable the target terminal to return to a connected mode for communication. Before a connection is established between the data transmission system and the target terminal, downlink data packets can be temporarily stored, and the packets can be sent after the target terminal is in the connected mode.
