    Abstract: An apparatus implementable on a firearm may include a takedown pin and a pivot pin. The takedown pin holds together a rear portion of lower and upper receivers of the firearm. The pivot pin holds together a front portion of lower and upper receivers of the firearm. Each of the takedown pin and pivot pin respectively includes a head and a generally cylindrical shank extending from the head toward a distal end thereof opposite the head. The shank is configured with: (1) a first groove track extending along a longitudinal axis of the shank, (2) a second groove track parallel to the first groove track and extending along the longitudinal axis of the shank, and (3) a linking groove track extending around the longitudinal axis of the shank and linking the first groove track and the second groove track.

    Abstract: In one aspect, a retractable buttstock may include a buttpad that allows the user to rest the weapon on their shoulders; a pair of extension rods; a buffer tube that allows the buttstock to attach to the firearm; and a buffer tube housing to receive the buffer tube. In an exemplary embodiment, the extension rods are hollow and a resilient unit is received in each extension rod. The extension rods have a pair of first positioning grooves and a pair of second positioning grooves to engage with stoppers of the buffer tube housing. The buttstock can be fully-extended and collapsed depending on whether the stoppers engage with the first or second positioning grooves. It is noted that the user can operate the retractable buttstock with one hand.

    Abstract: A firearm accessory mount interface to be mounted on a rail interface system has one or more fastener pairs of tightening fasteners and pivot fasteners as well as alignment relief lugs. The alignment relief lugs are shaped and spaced to provide proper alignment on the rail interface by engaging either a rear or front wall of the KeyMod or M-LOK rail interface mounting slot and due impeding movement parallel to the rail. The pivot fastener is sized to enter the selected rail interface in a horizontal orientation and pivot to a vertical orientation relative to the selected rail interface whereby preventing extraction of the accessory mount. The tightening fastener inserted into a fastener hole, situated at a the center point of the pivot fastener, can then be rotated to secure the tightening fastener and the pivot faster together thereby securing the mount interface onto the firearm.

    Abstract: A charging handle for a firearm having a receiver has an elongated rod running from a front end to a rear end at which a crossbar portion is connected to the rod. The crossbar portion is laterally situated to each side of the elongated rod and features redirection channels on both the top and bottom surfaces and is sized, shaped, and adapted to be gripped by a shooter using the firearm. The charging handle has flexible tabs on either side of the elongated rod for securement of the charging handle within groove on the firearm receiver. Rearward force by a user on either the left, right, or both sides of the crossbar portion user disengages the tabs from the grooves and releases the charging handle thereby allowing the charging handle to freely move along the firearm receiver.
