Abstract: A system and method which permit the RNC to control purging of data buffered in the Node B. The RNC monitors for a triggering event, which initiates the purging process. The RNC then informs the Node B of the need to purge data by transmitting a purge command, which prompts the Node B to delete at least a portion of buffered data. The purge command can include instructions for the Node B to purge all data for a particular UE, data in one or several user priority transmission queues or in one or more logical channels in the Node B, depending upon the particular data purge triggering event realized in the RNC.

Abstract: A call answering method integrating a social software application and a telephone answering interface is provided. The telephone is built-in with a telephone answering interface, a native address book and at least one social software application, and is installed with an integrated answering program. When the telephone receives a call request signal that an external caller transmits, the integrated answering program determines whether identity information the call request signal provides represents a social contact, and a social answering button corresponding to the social software application is displayed to quickly switch to the social software communication interface for text (short messages), graphic or file communication.

Abstract: A docking station including fixing base and at least one latching module is provided. The latching module includes a latching element, a first restoring element, a stopping element, a second restoring element and a pushing element. The first restoring element is connected to the latching element and the fixing base and drives the latching element to latch a tablet device. The stopping element is coupled to the latching element and has a recess. The second restoring element is connected to the stopping element and the fixing base and drives the stopping element to stop the latching element. The pushing element is adapted to be pushed and inserted into the recess to drive the stopping element to move away from the latching element, and the tablet device is adapted to be released from the latching element by pushing the latching element after the stopping element moves away from the latching element.

Abstract: A radio resource control (RRC) message is received by a radio resource control (RRC) device of a user equipment (UE). The RRC message notifies the FDD UE of a high speed downlink shared channel (HS-DSCH) inter-Node B cell change. A reordering buffers of a medium access controller-high speed (MAC-hs) is flushed in response to the receiving the RRC message. A status report is generated for each acknowledge mode (AM) RLC instance mapped to the HS-DSCH by a radio link control (RLC) device after the MAC-hs flushes the reordering buffer. Each status report indicates missing AM RLC packet data units (PDUs). The RRC device sends a “TRANSPORT CHANNEL RECONFIGURATION COMPLETE” message on a DCCH after the RLC device generates each status report.

Abstract: The present disclosure illustrates a communication establishing method. The method includes following steps. A communication service program is executed on the mobile device to transmit an identification code to a cloud server. A toll-free number is determined and a communication number corresponding to the identification code is inquired from a lookup table. A control command is transmitted from the cloud server to the mobile device. The mobile device is controlled by the control command to dial a call request containing the toll-free number to a dial-up device. The dial-up device transmits a search request to the cloud server and the cloud server then return the communication number respected to the toll-free number to the dial-up device. Finally, the dial-up device automatic transfers the call request to the communication terminal, so as to establish a communication connection between the mobile device and a communication terminal.

Abstract: The present invention is an image based oxygen saturation measuring device and method thereof. The method comprises steps of providing a plurality of red lights and a plurality of infrared lights arranged uniformly in an interlocked fashion and turned on alternatively; controlling the plurality of red lights and infrared lights to irradiate onto a selected skin area of a testee to have a red light turn-on period and an infrared light turn-on period; receiving a reflected version of the plurality of red lights and infrared lights from the selected skin area, respectively; and analyzing one reflected red light and one infrared light to acquire an oxygen saturation index for each of the coordination points. By means of the present invention, the measurement of oxygen saturation may be much exempted from effects brought from exterior interference and poor blood circulation, and may achieve a large measurement area in a single time.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an after-sales communication establishment method and system thereof. The method comprises the steps as below. A network address and a product serial number are obtained by using a mobile device to detect an identification unit of the product. A cloud server is connected and an application located the cloud server is downloaded to the mobile device via the network address. The application is executed for transmitting the id number of the mobile device and the product serial number to a communication server. A corresponding after-sales terminal respect to the product serial number is determined by the communication server. Then, based on the id number, a communication between the after-sales terminal and the mobile device is established by the communication server. By the after-sales communication establishment method and system thereof, the requirement of manpower is reduced and the approval rating is raised.

A finFET includes a fin of semiconductor material extending upwards from a semiconductor substrate. First and second source/drain regions, which have a first doping type, are spaced apart laterally from one another in the fin. A channel region is disposed in the fin and physically separates the first and second source/drain regions from one another. The channel region has a second doping type opposite the first doping type. A conductive gate electrode straddles the fin about the channel region and is separated from the channel region by a gate dielectric. A shallow doped region, which has the first doping type, is disposed near a surface of the fin around upper and sidewall fin regions. The shallow doped region extends continuously under the gate electrode between outer edges of the gate electrode.

Abstract: A building texture extracting apparatus and a method thereof are provided, wherein the building texture extracting apparatus comprises a storage unit and a processor. The storage unit is configured to store an aerial image and a panoramic image of a building. There is a coordinate correlation between the aerial image and the panoramic image. The processor defines an edge segment of a building in the aerial image, calculates an edge function according to the edge segment, projects the edge function onto the panoramic image according to the coordinate correlation to derive an edge curve function, decides an edge curve segment according to the edge curve function, captures an image area under the edge curve segment to be a building texture of the building, and stores the building texture in the storage unit.

Abstract: An electronic device for beamforming and a method thereof in a wireless communication system are provided. The electronic device includes a plurality of antennas. The electronic device also includes a plurality of transmitter and receiver switches connected to the antennas and configured to select a plurality of transmission paths and a plurality of reception paths. The electronic device further includes a plurality of first Phase Shifters (P/Ss) configured to shift a phase of Radio Frequency (RF) signals received via the antennas and the transmitter and receiver switches. The electronic device includes a combiner configured to combine the phase-shifted RF signals to one RF signal. The electronic device also includes a quadrature signal generator configured to generate a quadrature signal. The electronic device further includes a down-mixer configured to convert the quadrature signal and the combined RF signal to a first baseband signal and configured to output the first baseband signal to a modem.

Abstract: A connection dormancy method for a wireless communication device, the wireless communication device and computer readable recording medium using the same are provided. The method includes recording connection information between the wireless communication device and at least one target device, and generating at least one connection establishing time according to the connection information. The method also includes determining using either a first dormancy waiting time or a second dormancy waiting time as a default dormancy waiting time according to the at least one connection establishing time, and disconnecting a connection between the wireless communication device and the at least one target device after the connection is idled for the default dormancy waiting time.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a recipe for in-situ gel, formed by dissolving at least one polymer and at least one gel prevention agent in a polar solvent to form a solution and placing the solution in a condition for in-situ forming gels. The disclosure also provides an implant and a drug delivery system formed by the recipe.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and system for eliminating yellow ring phenomenon occurring on the white light emitting diode (LED) based on a blue light chip exciting yellow phosphor powders and having a packaging surface enclosing thereon. Lightspot images are repeatedly acquired outside the white LED, and then each analyzed to see if the yellow ring still exists on a lightspot. If yes, a further atomization process is performed on the packaging surface of white LED, until the acquired and analyzed image shows no yellow ring exists. A lightspot-by-lightspot basis is used in the yellow ring elimination task. In the image analysis, a look up table may be provided in advanced or established at the same time simultaneously with the yellow ring elimination task. The atomization performed on the lightspot may also consider a width issue.

Abstract: A system and method which improve the performance of a wireless transmission system by intelligent use of the control of the flow of data between a radio network controller (RNC) and a Node B. The system monitors certain criteria and, if necessary, adaptively increases or decreases the data flow between the RNC and the Node B. This improves the performance of the transmission system by allowing retransmitted data, signaling procedures and other data to be successfully received at a faster rate, by minimizing the amount of data buffered in the Node B. Flow control is exerted to reduce buffering in the Node B upon degradation of channel qualities, and prior to a High Speed Downlink Shared Channel (HS-DSCH) handover.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods for nucleic acid amplification wherein nucleic acid templates, beads, and amplification reaction solution are emulsified and the nucleic acid templates are amplified to provide clonal copies of the nucleic acid templates attached to the beads. Also disclosed are kits and apparatuses for performing the methods of the invention.
