    Abstract: Disclosed is a general methodology to create nano fibers of therapeutic molecules that have a dual role, as both the delivery vehicle and the drug itself. It is shown that with proper molecular design, the integration of enzymatic reaction and self-assembly provides a powerful method to create molecular hydrogels of clinically-used therapeutics without compromising their bioactivities. In addition, the results disclosed herein demonstrate enzyme-instructed self-assembly as a facile strategy for generating the supramolecular hydrogels of molecules that inherently have poor solubility in water. For example, by covalently connecting paclitaxel with a motif that is prone to self-assemble, a hydrogel of paclitaxel can be formed without compromising the activity of the paclitaxel.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a driving system of a liquid crystal display and a driving method thereof. A storage capacitor voltage (VCS) is applied to an auxiliary shielding storage capacitor electrode and a common electrode voltage (Vcom) is applied to a common electrode in a liquid crystal display panel comprising of an upper substrate, a lower substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. Besides, a specific voltage is applied to a storage capacitor electrode and makes a predetermined voltage difference between the auxiliary shielding storage capacitor electrode and the common electrode, thereby improving the side light leakage of the liquid crystal display, enhancing the process when assembling the upper substrate and the lower substrate, and reducing the width of a black matrix shielding layer of the upper substrate to increase the aperture ratio.

    Abstract: A current device capable of process, voltage and temperature compensation for phase-locked loop (PLL) is disclosed. The current device can adjust the central frequency of oscillation of a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), making a compensated central oscillating frequency not affected by all process, voltage and temperature (PVT) variations. Meanwhile, the VCO having lower KVCO can operate in the same range of operating frequencies. Further, the current device of the invention can also be applied to a charge pump circuit, causing the charge pump current Icp to vary according to KVCO and therefore making the product of (Icp*KVCO) substantially independent of the PVT conditions.
