  • Patent number: 11269097
Abstract: A method for computing amplitude independent gradient for seismic velocity inversion in a frequency domain includes receiving seismic data associated with a region. The region comprises one or more earth subsurface layers represented by a plurality of points, and each point is associated with a seismic velocity. Seismic velocities at the plurality of points are determined by iteratively updating the seismic velocities based on a plurality of gradient values, where each gradient value corresponds to a point and is determined by evaluating a gradient of an objective function at a location of the point. A seismic image of the one or more earth subsurface layers is displayed based on the determined seismic velocities.

  • Publication number: 20220056417
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for resisting aging and enhancing stemness characteristics of human mesenchymal stem cells. Through co-culture of immune cells in human peripheral blood and aging human mesenchymal stem cells in cell-to-cell contact mode, the method can significantly reverse the aging characteristics of the aging human mesenchymal stem cells, including reducing expressions of cell aging markers such as ?-galactosidase, P21 and P16 proteins, and can regulate the cell cycle of the aging human mesenchymal stem cells, specifically by reducing the number of cells in G1 phase and increasing the number of cells in S phase. More importantly, the method can significantly enhance the stemness characteristics of the aging human mesenchymal stem cells, such as abilities of self-renewal, proliferation and multidirectional differentiation potential, and the cells obtained by the culture method are used to treat disease models, which is safe and effective.

  • Publication number: 20220056416
Abstract: Disclosed is a rapid and efficient method for expanding a human mesenchymal stem cells in vitro. In the method, immune cells in human peripheral blood and human mesenchymal stem cells are co-cultured at a cell number ratio of 1:1 to 400:1, which can significantly enhance the expansion ability of human mesenchymal stem cells; the number of expansion in vitro is more than ten times that of commonly used methods, and the expanded cells still maintain the biological characteristics of stem cells while having stronger self-renewal ability and multidirectional differentiation potential. There is no statistical difference in the expansion-promoting effects of the human peripheral blood immune cells from people of different ages on the human mesenchymal stem cells, regardless of age. Subjects use immune cells in autologous peripheral blood to expand human mesenchymal stem cells, which can avoid the risk of immune rejection.

  • Publication number: 20210388423
Abstract: Provided herein are methods of sequencing comprising click chemistry bioconjugation. In some embodiments, target polynucleotide sequences on the same or different molecules are contacted with and hybridize to probes comprising click functional groups. Probes (e.g., reading probes) hybridizing to adaptor sequences adjacent to different sequences of interest (e.g., barcodes to be sequenced) can be hybridized simultaneously in large pools. In some embodiments, the provided methods achieve multiplexing without requiring separate hybridization of probes (e.g., reading probes) for each sequencing-by-ligation cycle, thereby reducing total hybridization time which is typically a most time-consuming step in in situ technologies. In some aspects, the hybridized probes (e.g., reading probes) are clicked onto detectable probes to analyze a sequence of a target polynucleotide in a sequencing-by-ligation fashion.

  • Patent number: 11143773
Abstract: Systems and methods include a computer-implemented method for presenting interpretation results of synchronized seismic data and fracture treatment times. A standard format seismic dataset of sensor readings obtained from a three-component sensor is generated. Coordinates and recording times corresponding to the sensor readings are added to the standard format seismic dataset. Synchronized seismic data is generated from the standard format seismic dataset by synchronizing seismic recording times with fracture treatment times. Quality-controlled synchronized seismic data is generated by removing dead traces and abnormal data samples from the synchronized seismic data. A time-frequency analysis is performed on the quality-controlled synchronized seismic data, including performing short-time Fourier transforms to analyze variations of Fourier spectra over time. Based on the time-frequency analysis, resonance frequencies are extracted from each frequency spectrum at different time samples.
