  • Patent number: 9066352
Abstract: A wireless network connection method of an electronic device is provided. The electronic device has an access point (AP) mode and a station (ST) mode. When the electronic device starts a wireless network connection function, the electronic device is switched to the ST mode. Electronic devices in the AP mode are searched within a nearby area. If no electronic device in the AP mode is found, the electronic device is switched to the AP mode to automatically connect to a wireless network, and wireless network services are provided to other electronic devices in the ST mode in the nearby area. If electronic devices in the AP mode are found, the weights of the electronic devices are respectively calculated to set one of the electronic devices as a primary AP, and the electronic devices other than the primary AP are allowed to connect to the wireless network through the primary AP.

  • Publication number: 20070223117
Abstract: The present invention discloses an optical disc drive with an explosion proof structure comprising a frame, a first guiding member pivoted to the frame, a second guiding member pivoted to the first guiding member, and a rotating member pivoted to the frame corresponding to an access opening on a side of the frame. When the rotating member rotates to a first position, the access opening is covered by a stopping flange of the rotating member, and when the rotating member rotates to a second position and a compact disc is inserted into the access opening, the compact disc drives the first guiding member and then to drive the second guiding member rotate the rotating member from the second position to the first position. Therefore, a fragment of a cracked compact disc inside the optical disc drive is prevented from jetting out of the optical disc drive effectively.

  • Publication number: 20070174856
Abstract: An optical disc drive suitable for accommodating an optical disc is provided. The optical disc drive includes a housing, a rack, a swing arm and a cushion. The rack is disposed inside the housing, and the swing arm is pivoted to the rack. When an optical disc moves to a first disc location of the rack, the disc pushes the swing arm to rotate from a first arm location to a second arm location. When the disc returns from the first disc location back to a second disc location, the swing arm rotates from the second arm location back to the first arm location. The cushion is disposed to cover a protruding portion of the swing arm for buffering an impact.
