    Abstract: A processor-implemented method includes receiving sensor measurement data from a glucose sensor; selecting, based on the sensor measurement data, a first regional sensor glucose (SG) model from a first plurality of regional SG models for respective regions of a first plurality of regions of an input parameter space associated with the sensor measurement data, and a second regional SG model from a second plurality of regional SG models for respective regions of a second plurality of regions of the input parameter space; estimating a first SG value and a second SG value using the first regional SG model and the second regional SG model, respectively; and determining a predicted SG value based on a combination of the first SG value and the second SG value. The input parameter space is partitioned into the first plurality of regions and the second plurality of regions using different partition schemes.

    Abstract: A metering method based on gas volume fraction fitting for wet natural gas is provided. The method includes fitting relationships between a gas Froude number and Venturi differential pressure and Venturi pressure loss with known data to obtain a gas Froude number calculation formula; dividing the known data according to a size of the gas Froude number; fitting relationships between a gas volume fraction and the Venturi differential pressure and the Venturi pressure loss in sections to obtain a piecewise gas volume fraction calculation formula under different gas Froude numbers; and acquiring, on the basis of the gas Froude number calculation formula and the piecewise gas volume fraction calculation formula, some necessary real-time data to calculate a real-time flow rate of the wet gas. The method avoids the use of a ray flow meter. The advantages of the method include accurate metering, small errors and no radioactive pollution.

    Abstract: The present invention generally relates to sensitizer compounds and their use to sensitize cancer and/or pre-cancerous cells of certain cancers to treatment with certain resistance-prone therapeutics used in cancer therapy. In embodiments, the conjugates of particular esters or amides of Near Infrared Dyes, are used as sensitizers to avoid or overcome therapeutic resistance once formed. In embodiments, the sensitizers include conjugates with Cisplatin, Simvastatin, Artemisinin, platin-based compounds or statins. In embodiments, the resistance prone cancer therapeutics include cisplatin, gemcitabine, doxorubicin, paclitaxel, docetaxel, and platin-based compounds. These may be administered in combination with the sensitizer, or the sensitizer itself may comprise an therapeutci-derived moiety conjugated to the sensitizer, for example as is the case for dye-CIS conjugated sensitizers. Alternatively, the sensitizer may be co-administered with one or more therapeutic.
