  • Patent number: 7342360
Abstract: A handheld flashlight includes a head that pivots relative to a body. Three legs pivotally connect to the body and open into a tripod to support the head in an elevated position. The legs are spring-biased toward the open tripod position and are selectively held closed by a detent mechanism. In the closed position, the legs form a flashlight handle that is aligned with an illumination direction of the head and is shaped and sized to be held in the hand of an operator. Each of the three legs contain battery source holders for battery sources that connect to each other in parallel. Diodes are disposed in series with each battery source to prevent the parallel battery sources from discharging each other.

  • Patent number: 7326300
Abstract: A coating apparatus (2) includes a work table (20) having a plurality of blowing holes (201) for suspending a substrate (200) thereabove, a coating unit (22) having a photoresist coating nozzle (222) and a supplying device (224) for photoresist material. The photoresist coating nozzle is disposed above the work table, and the supplying device connects to the coating nozzle for supplying photoresist thereto. In operation, the substrate to be coated is continuously suspended in the gas just above but not in contact with the work table. Therefore, accumulation of static electricity and/or foreign particles on the substrate can be avoided. Gas emitting from the blowing holes can remove foreign particles from the surface of the work table and the backside of the work table.

  • Patent number: 7296909
Abstract: A handheld flashlight includes a head that pivots relative to a body. At least two legs pivotally connect to the body at a fixed location along the body, and open into an extended, open or deployed position to support the head in an elevated position. In the closed or handheld flashlight position, the legs form a flashlight handle that is aligned with an illumination direction of the head and is shaped and sized to be held in the hand of an operator. Each of the legs may contain battery source holders for battery sources that connect to each other.

  • Patent number: 7217531
Abstract: The present invention is directed to methods and compositions for determining the presence, absence, and/or amounts of one or more membrane-associated analytes in a sample. In accordance with the invention, binding compounds derivatized with releasable molecular tags specifically bind to selected membrane-associated analytes, after which the molecular tags are released upon activation of cleavage moieties, or sensitizers, anchored in the same membrane as the membrane-associated analytes. The released molecular tags are then identified by their distinct separation and detection characteristics.

  • Patent number: 7135300
Abstract: Methods are provided for detecting formation of oligomeric complexes of molecules on the surface of cell membranes. These methods employ pairs of tagged probes and cleaving probes, each of which binds specificly to a cell surface molecule. The tagged probe includes a molecular tag that is linked to a first binding compound through a cleavable linkage, and the cleaving probe includes a second binding agent and a cleavage-inducing moiety that can cleave the linkage when within a defined proximity thereto. Binding of the two probes to cell surface molecules that have formed an oligomeric complex results in release of the molecular tag from the binding compound, providing a measure of formation of the complex.

  • Patent number: 7122319
Abstract: Methods and compositions are provided for detection of analytes, such as cell surface moieties, preferably in multiplexed assays, such that multiple analytes can be assayed simultaneously. The methods employ analyte binding agents which are linked to oligonucleotide labels, which labels are then used for formation of cleavage structures and generation of detectable molecular tags. Preferably, multiple tags are generated per analyte binding event.

  • Publication number: 20060166282
Abstract: Ligands, such as antibodies, are screened for binding to cell surface moieties such as receptors. Multiple cell types and/or binding ligands can be screened simultaneously in multiplexed assays. The screening assays employ membrane-anchored electrophoretic probes for detection of binding of the ligand to the cell surface.

  • Publication number: 20050274400
Abstract: An apparatus (100) for processing substrates includes: a substrate cleaning device (20), which cleans the substrates with treating liquid; a developing device (40); and a treating liquid recovery system (30), which is connected with the cleaning device and the developing device. The treating liquid recovery system can convey the treating liquid from the cleaning device to the developing device. Thus the treating liquid that has been used in the cleaning device can be reused in the developing device. Therefore the apparatus can economize on treating liquid and reduce costs.

  • Publication number: 20050252126
Abstract: A door of glass fiber-reinforced plastic having two door panels and four sealing strips. Each of door panels has a pair of projecting stripes at the top and bottom thereof. Each of the four peripheral sides of the door panels are enclosed by sealing strips. Each of the sealing strips has an I-shaped section, and includes an attachment portion. Two insertion grooves are formed between the sealing strip and the attachment portion to permit the insertion of both door panels with their projecting stripes thereinto. A plurality of stiffening ribs is interposed between both door panels. Accordingly, drawbacks of the prior art can be eliminated by the door of the invention that is completely formed in a rectangular shape. The door panels are made of fiber-reinforced plastic to create a visual effect of simulation of wood grains. The sealing rims of the prior art are no more existing in the invention so that the whole appearance won't be affected.
