Abstract: Comparison and sorting of data stored according to a flexible schema data type is disclosed. A data object is accessed, the data object stored according to a set of one or more datatypes, wherein the set comprises a flexible schema datatype and data in the data object pertains to a plurality of domains. Data within the data object is translated to a sortable intermediate format that is configured to allow local ordering among elements in the respective plurality of domains while allowing global ordering among the plurality of domains based on a pre-selected convention. The translated data is stored in a storage system accessible by a database management system (DBMS). Structured query language (SQL) operations are performed on the stored translated data.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes an arrangement for a hoisting machine in a forced-drive home elevator, including a hoistway installed with a frame, and a support bracket. A car is installed on the support bracket. The support bracket is slidably disposed in the frame. The hoisting machine is installed in the support bracket. Projections of the hoisting machine and the car on a horizontal plane do not overlap. A traction rope is fixed on a traction sheave of the hoisting machine. A crossbeam is arranged above the support bracket, and the traction rope is fixedly connected to the crossbeam. By arranging the hoisting machine on the support bracket, it is only necessary to fix the traction rope on the crossbeam in the hoistway without a guide pulley structure at the top of the hoistway, which implies no need to occupy the space at the top or bottom of the hoistway.

Abstract: Example methods and systems provide a workplace assistant application that can detect electronic content associated with a remote user and access multiple communication channels connected to a workplace assistant client application. The system can submit the electronic content to one or more predictive models to provide a context for the electronic content. The context is based at least in part on information from multiple channels. The system can generate, using the predictive model(s), an action item based at least in part on the context of the electronic content as well as display or store the action item using the workplace assistant client application. An action item, as examples, can be a “to do” item, a meeting agenda, a reminder, a meeting, a task, or some combination of one or more of these.

Abstract: Techniques may include accessing a message in a database of the virtual conference service. In addition, the techniques may include identifying one or more features of the message. The techniques may include for each chat channel: identifying one or more features of a particular chat channel; and classifying the message as belonging to one or more chat channels of a first user account based on the features of the message and the features of the particular chat channel. Moreover, the techniques may include assigning a channel score to each of the chat channels based on the classification. Also, the techniques may include determining an order for the chat channels, where the order is determined based on the channel score for each of the chat channels. Further, the techniques may include presenting the one or more chat channels in the order.

Abstract: Example methods and systems for context-based channel recommendation and management are provided. A communication platform accesses a first set of user data associated with a first user on the communication platform and channel data associated with a plurality of chat channels on the communication platform. The communication platform determines one or more recommended chat channels for the first user based on the first set of user data and the channel data. The communication platform provides the one or more recommended chat channels to the first user.

Abstract: An array substrate and a total reflection liquid crystal display panel are provided. By disposing an uneven surface which is at least partially uneven on a side of a planarization layer away from a substrate in the total reflection liquid crystal display panel, a reflection electrode can be disposed along the uneven surface of the planarization layer in an uneven shape, thereby changing an reflective direction of a light in the panel. Therefore, the light that cannot be reflected at a critical angle of total reflection originally is allowed to be reflected out of the panel, thereby increasing reflectivity of the total reflection liquid crystal display panel.

Abstract: An approach for replicating changes to JSON objects uses “piecewise replication”. In piecewise replication, a piecewise update to a JSON object is replicated at a destination DBMS to a replica of the JSON object. A piecewise update changes part of JSON objects and typically changes a JSON object at the field level; a piecewise update does not overwrite an entire JSON object with an entire new JSON object, as in the full rewrite of a JSON object previously described. In piecewise replication, new values/content of the fields for change fields and a specification of the fields are transmitted from a source DBMS to a destination DBMS to effect a change to part of a JSON object.

Abstract: Example methods relate to avoiding beacon collisions between a repeater and a root AP, optimizing traffic flows based on buffers queued within hardware, and/or optimizing transmissions through a trigger-based mechanism. An example method includes determining loads on buffers within a repeater configured to communicate according to a DBVC protocol. The loads on the buffers correspond to data to be transmitted within upstream and downstream networks. The method includes determining whether to adjust a DBVC duty cycle of the repeater based on the loads. The DBVC duty cycle includes: an on channel duty cycle comprising a ratio of time on an on channel to total time on both the on and off channels; or an off channel duty cycle comprising a ratio of time on the off channel to total time on both the on and off channels. The method includes adjusting the DBVC duty cycle of the repeater.

Abstract: JSON Duality Views are object views that return JDV objects. JDV objects are virtual because they are not stored in a database as JSON objects. Rather, JDV objects are stored in shredded form across tables and table attributes (e.g. columns) and returned by a DBMS in response to database commands that request a JDV object from a JSON Duality View. Through JSON Duality Views, changes to the state of a JDV object may be specified at the level of a JDV object. JDV objects are updated in a database using optimistic lock.

Abstract: Systems and methods for integration of anchor information for retrieval augmented generation are provided. A communication platform accesses communication data associated with an enterprise on the communication platform. The communication platform divides the communication data into multiple data chunks. The communication platform generates one or more extended queries for each data chunk of the multiple data chunks using a generative AI model. The communication platform receives a user query, and identifies, from the multiple data chunks, one or more relevant data chunks for the user query at least by comparing the user query with the one or more extended queries associated with each data chunk of the multiple data chunks. The communication platform provides an answer to the user query based on the one or more relevant data chunks.

Abstract: Techniques for implementing hybrid retrieval augmented generation for rich document queries using a large language model (“LLM”) are disclosed. In an example method, a computing system receives documents which are added to databases. The computing system receives a query, from which tokens are generated. The computing system determines a first ranking of the documents using a probabilistic ranking method and a second ranking of the documents in response to a vector database query using an embedded representation. The computing system determines a third ranking of the documents based on the first ranking and the second ranking. The computing system selects top documents from the third ranking. The computing system determines a knowledge graph based on the top documents. The computing system outputs the query, the top documents, and at least a portion of the knowledge graph to an LLM. The computing system receives and outputs a response.

Abstract: Systems and methods of evaluating and fine-tuning a generative AI tool on a communication platform. The communication platform accesses a dataset comprising a user query and a response generated by an AI-based query system. The communication platform evaluates the response with respect to the user query using multiple AI-based scoring models to obtain multiple evaluation results. In response to determining that the multiple evaluation results are inconsistent, the communication platform evaluates the response with respect to the user query using a reference large language model (LLM) to provide a reference evaluation result. In response to determining that the reference evaluation result is decisive, the communication platform classifies, based on the reference evaluation result, the dataset to a data category of one or more data categories. The communication platform fine-tunes the AI-based query system based on a group of datasets in the data category.

The communication platform extracts a plurality of keywords from the communication data. The communication platform creates a knowledge graph comprising a plurality of nodes. The communication platform identifies, using a graph random walk algorithm, one or more keyword nodes in the knowledge graph related to a first keyword node to link the first keyword node with the one or more keyword nodes. The communication platform determines a first keyword node embedding for the first keyword node by aggregating information associated with at least the first keyword node and the one or more keyword nodes using a graph convolutional network algorithm.
