  • Publication number: 20120188855
Abstract: A timepiece according to a first aspect of the invention has a fan-shaped display unit including a display wheel that can rotate, a stepping motor that rotationally drives the display wheel in both forward and reverse directions, a reverse stop that limits reverse rotation of the display wheel, and an indication means that is attached to the display wheel; and a control unit that applies pulses to the stepping motor. The position of the reverse stop is set so that the orientation of one polar axis of the rotor of the stepping motor when the display wheel is stopped by the reverse stop at the reverse stop is within ±360°/(number of magnetic poles of rotor*2) from the static stable position of the polar axis. After stopping at the reverse stop, the polarity of the first pulse applied to the stepping motor by the control unit is constant.

  • Patent number: 7986121
Abstract: An inverter apparatus is for correcting deviations among current detectors of a three-phase motor. The inverter apparatus includes bidirectional switching elements that have on and off states in the cases in which there are 1 and 0 mean on- and off-states. The states are alternately repeated by controlling the switches, and measurement for correcting the deviations among the current detectors are obtained in the state Currents have the same amplitude flow on a U phase and a V phase. In the state of normal use, the inverter apparatus is operated by correcting detected current values based on the measurement data.

  • Patent number: 7742364
Abstract: A timepiece display apparatus causes a day hand to move reciprocally by means of center wheel, driven day wheel, cam, lever, and rack. These wheels, cam, lever, and rack can be easily arranged to fit the available space on the main plate of the movement, and the construction of the display apparatus can thus be simplified. Furthermore, locating the cam between the rotary shaft and rack of the lever portion enables arranging a plurality of parts more compactly than if the cam is disposed to a different location, and affords a simple assembly.

  • Publication number: 20080265829
Abstract: FIGS. 4A and 4B are principle diagrams for correcting deviations among current detectors of a three-phase motor 19 in an inverter apparatus of the present invention, which includes bidirectional switching elements 13 to 18. FIG. 4C shows on and off states of switches in the cases of FIGS. 4A and 4B, in which 1 and 0 mean on- and off-states, respectively. The states shown in FIGS. 4A and 4B are alternately repeated by controlling the switches, and measurement for correcting the deviations among the current detectors are obtained in the state shown in FIG. 4B. Specifically, in FIG. 4B, currents having the same amplitude flow on a U phase and a V phase. Accordingly, a difference in the measured data represents a difference in performances of the current detectors. In the state of normal use, the inverter apparatus is operated by correcting detected current values based on the measurement data.

  • Patent number: 6854683
Abstract: In the tape winder for winding a tape on a reel to form a tape roll, a nozzle which blows a gas toward an outer peripheral surface of the tape roll at a winding time of the tape is fixed on a slider, which is slidably supported on a rail. In this way, the nozzle is supported movably forward and backward with respect to the tape roll. Moreover, the nozzle is pressed toward the tape roll by an air cylinder with a constant pressing force. Thus, the nozzle is allowed to accurately follow an outer peripheral surface of the tape roll, and a constant pressure can be applied to the outer peripheral surface of the tape roll. Consequently, the tape can be wound with an adequate winding tightness.
