    Abstract: A magnetic disc cartridge includes a casing formed of upper and lower shell halves mated together, a disc-like recording medium supported for rotation in the casing and a liner fixed to each of the inner surfaces of the upper and lower shell halves by ultrasonic welding by use of an ultrasonic welding horn. The liner has an outer contour defined by an outer peripheral edge, a central opening defined by an inner peripheral edge, and a slit-like cutaway portion defined by a pair of linear edges extending between the outer peripheral edge and the inner peripheral edge. The ultrasonic welding horn is provided with a welding pattern in the form of a protrusion pattern formed on a welding face thereof over the entire welding area in which the ultrasonic welding horn is brought into contact with the liner, and the liner is welded to the inner surface of the shell half over the entire area of the liner along the welding pattern.

    Abstract: In the tape winder for winding a tape on a reel to form a tape roll, a nozzle which blows a gas toward an outer peripheral surface of the tape roll at a winding time of the tape is fixed on a slider, which is slidably supported on a rail. In this way, the nozzle is supported movably forward and backward with respect to the tape roll. Moreover, the nozzle is pressed toward the tape roll by an air cylinder with a constant pressing force. Thus, the nozzle is allowed to accurately follow an outer peripheral surface of the tape roll, and a constant pressure can be applied to the outer peripheral surface of the tape roll. Consequently, the tape can be wound with an adequate winding tightness.

The apparatus includes as essential components an opposing pair of chucking members for supplementarily supporting a molded product in the clamped state while restrictively locating it at a predetermined position, and a suction pad located in alignment with the predetermined position of the molded product for grasping the latter by the action of suction. In an alternate embodiment, two chuck arms having respective suction pads at their ends are moved into contact with the shutter from opposite sides. With the invention the molded product can completely be extracted from an injection molding die in cooperation of the chucking members with the suction pad.
