  • Patent number: 7713129
Abstract: An image processing system includes a fixed-type game machine and a hand-held type game machine. To the hand-held type game machine, an imaging cartridge is attached, and therefore, when an operator photographs a face image of a desired object, for example, face image data corresponding thereto is produced. In addition, by operating an operating switch of the hand-held type game machine, the operator can input feature data representing a feature of the object. The hand-held type game machine transmits the face image data and the feature data to the fixed-type game machine. The fixed-type game machine deforms provisional three-dimensional character data selected by the operator based on the feature data, and attaches the face image data to the deformed provisional three-dimensional feature data so as to compose an image. A composed image is displayed on an image display device by an animation based on the feature data.

  • Publication number: 20100073367
Abstract: A video game device calculates an angle of an object 71, etc., with respect to a reference direction in a three-dimensional space. Then, the video game device defines a virtual cylindrical model for each of a plurality of objects so that a bottom surface of each cylindrical model is perpendicular to the reference direction. The video game device defines a plurality of cylindrical models for a predetermined object if the inclination of the predetermined object with respect to the reference direction is greater than a predetermined angle. Then, the video game device determines whether or not the defined cylindrical models have an overlap therebetween. Then, if two cylindrical models are determined to be overlapping with each other, the video game device gives a predetermined change to the two objects in response to the collision.

  • Publication number: 20100069159
Abstract: Instead of using an operation inputted by a player, a series of operation data for continuously moving a player character for a predetermined time period of a game is previously stored as automatic operation data. Automatic control means moves the player character based on the automatic operation data. Furthermore, the automatic control means receives a play start operation indicating that the player starts to play the game while the automatic control means moves the player character. A movement of the player character control led based on the automatic operation data is finished at a time when the play start operation is received, and the movement of the player character starts to be controlled based on an operation of the player.

  • Publication number: 20090299101
Abstract: The present invention provides a catalyst, which has enough catalytic activity as a transition metal particle catalyst including platinum family and the like, is easily separable from products, is reusable and is easily prepared. To prepare the transition metal cluster catalyst of the present invention, an insoluble complex is prepared by forming a complex between a polymer with nitrogen-containing group, such as pyridinium and ammonium group in the principal chain, and a later transition metal compound; and then reducing the complex with a reductant. The transition metal forms clusters, which are stabilized by the polymers. Namely, the present invention is a transition metal cluster catalyst, wherein transition metal clusters are supported by a polymer, which is obtained by reduction reaction of a complex of a transition metal and a polymer with nitrogen-containing group.

  • Publication number: 20090298173
Abstract: It is intended to provide a method of efficiently and stably preparing a cell having a bone tissue formation ability by a simple operation. Further, it is intended to provide a method of preparing a composition for bone tissue formation with high safety and an excellent therapeutic effect by a simple operation. The cell for bone tissue formation is obtained by (1) culturing bone marrow after isolating it from a living body, diluting it at a predetermined dilution ratio and inoculating it to a culture vessel, (2) culturing the remaining adhesive cells after removing floating components, (3) inducing differentiation of proliferated cells to bone cells and (4) recovering the cells. The thus obtained cells, a thrombin solution, platelet-rich plasma and air are mixed at a predetermined mixing ratio (based on volume) in the presence of calcium ions and the mixture is gelled, whereby a gelled composition is obtained.
