  • Publication number: 20200208969
Abstract: In a road surface condition determining device, when determining a road surface condition, a vibration detection unit, a waveform processing unit and a data transmission unit for implementing a sensing function and a data transmission function are not set continuously to an active state for all tire side device, but at least only one tire side device is set to an active state. Remaining one or more is set to a sleep state. A reduction in power consumption of the tire side devices set to the sleep state can thus be achieved. Further, with regard to the at least one tire side device, since the sensing function and the data transmission function remain in the active state, the road surface condition can be reliably determined based on the road surface data of the tire side device.

  • Publication number: 20200031301
Abstract: A collision detection unit corrects a threshold value to a larger value, which a collision check unit uses to compare an output value of a collision detection unit, in case of a rough road surface than in case of a flat road surface. Thus, it becomes possible to suppress erroneous detection on the rough road surface while detecting a collision sensitively on a flat road surface. The rough road is detected by a vibration detection unit provided in a tire side device.

  • Patent number: 10274506
Abstract: In the past, when centering the center of a liquid surface and fixation thereof proved difficult during mounting a container into an automatic analytical apparatus, there was sometimes the possibility that the accuracy of checking the liquid surface conditions and the pipetting precision could not be ensured. When this problem occurred, there was the possibility that the reliability of the analysis results would be diminished. Accordingly, an automatic analytical apparatus is provided with a probe for suctioning a liquid to be used in analysis, wherein the apparatus is provided with a transport apparatus for transporting a container accommodating the liquid, and a container-clamping apparatus for clamping the container transported by the transport apparatus. The container-clamping apparatus has a vibration suppression mechanism for retaining the clamped container with an elastic body, and a centering retention mechanism with which centering of the container center can be fixed.

  • Patent number: 7903248
Abstract: To increase the direct light received by the detector and decrease reflections from the detection component support structures, the luminescent substance is placed as close to the detector as possible. More specifically, the apparatus is configured so as to slide out a structure shielding the detector from light and at the same time slide in the vessel containing the luminescent substance therein until the vessel comes right under the detector. The invention can detect trace luminescence from a small-volume sample by maximizing the amount of direct light received from the sample and minimizing the decay of indirect light received from the sample attributable to interactions with the vessel for containing the sample therein, the structure for collecting light, and the structure for supporting other detection components.
