  • Patent number: 8021662
Abstract: Methods for production of tumor-specific antibodies are provided. The methods employ microorganisms that are designed to accumulate in immunoprivileged tissues and cells, such as in tumors and other proliferating tissue and in inflamed tissues, compared to other tissues, cells and organs, so that they exhibit relatively low toxicity to host organisms. The microorganisms also are designed or modified to result in leaky cell membranes of cells in which they accumulate, resulting in production of antibodies reactive against proteins and other cellular products and also permitting exploitation of proliferating tissues, particularly tumors, to produce selected proteins and other products.

  • Patent number: 7986157
Abstract: A probing apparatus for semiconductor devices includes a housing configured to define a testing chamber, a device holder positioned in the housing and configured to receive at least one device under test, and at least one probe stage positioned in the housing. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, the probe stage includes a base, a retaining arm pivotally coupled with the base and having a retaining portion configured to retain at least one probe, and a stepper positioned on the base. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, the stepper is configured in response to an electric signal to move the probe downward through the retaining arm to contact a device under test and to move the probe upward through the retaining arm to separate from the device under test such that the up-and-down movement of the probe can be performed at relatively high frequency of typically greater than six cycles per second.

  • Patent number: 7912310
Abstract: A system and method that scale a first image to a second image. The scaling factor between the first image and the second image may be used to determine the number of pixels from the first image to be used to produce a pixel of the second image. The number of pixels from the first image may be utilized to pre-compute coefficients of a filter to be applied to the pixels from the first image. The location of the pixels from the first image relative to the pixels of the second image may be utilized to compute the filter coefficients. The coefficients may be computed using a Sinc function. The predetermined coefficients may be organized according to the order in which the pixels from the first image are to be processed to produce the second image.

  • Publication number: 20090240804
Abstract: A method for preventing IGMP packet attacks includes two levels of anti-attack steps: anti-attacking on the basis of the source IP address of an IGMP packet; and anti-attacking on the basis of the multicast group IP address of the IGMP packet. Moreover, an apparatus for preventing IGMP packet attacks is disclosed herein. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the attacks are prevented hierarchically in light of the source address and multicast group IP of the IGMP packet, thus effectively solving network exceptions caused by malicious IGMP packets which surge in a short time.
