Abstract: Disclosed are a prism sheet and a liquid crystal display having the same. The prism sheet includes a base and a plurality of prism mountains. The base includes a front surface and a rear surface facing the front surface. The prism mountains are integrally formed with the base on the rear surface of the base. At least one prism mountain includes a plurality of light incidence surfaces and a reflective surface. The light incidence surfaces receive light. The reflective surface is adjacent to one of the light incidence surfaces to reflect the light. A vertical angle of the prism mountains formed between the light incidence surface adjacent to the reflective surface and the reflective surface, is in a range of about 70° to about 100°.

Abstract: A fuel pump, for an internal combustion engine, has a housing accommodating a pump and a motor. The motor is arranged to drive the pump so as to pump fuel through the housing. The motor has a wound stator having a plurality of inwardly directed teeth about which a stator winding is wound, and a radially outer surface in contact with an inner surface of the housing. One or more pathways are formed between the inner surface of the housing and the outer surface of the stator, for the flow of fuel there through. Each pathway is formed by an axially extending recess formed in the outer surface of the stator and aligned with a selected tooth of the stator.

Abstract: A signal processing circuit and a signal processing method for removing a co-channel interference from a digital signal are provided. The signal processing circuit employs an adaptive filter for estimating a co-channel interference in a received digital signal. The adaptive filter takes the digital signal having a symbol signal outputted from a slicer subtracted therefrom as an input thereof. As such, the output of the adaptive filter does not contain any symbol data. Therefore, when the outputted estimation signal is subtracted from the received digital signal, it won't introduce any inter-symbol interference.

Abstract: A method and system for computing and displaying a roundness error of an object specifies different colors that respectively represents an error range of points. The method and system receives a point cloud of the object and fits a circle based on the point cloud. The method and system computes an error of each point in the point cloud by computing a distance between the each point and the circle, colorizes the points in the point cloud according to the errors and the specified colors, and generates and outputting a graphic roundness error analysis report.

Abstract: Disclosed is a steam oven to cook food in a cooking chamber by use of steam. More particularly, disclosed is a steam generator of a steam oven, which can simplify the configuration of a device required to generate steam and is detachably attached to a cabinet to assure easy cleaning and washing thereof. The steam generator includes a single body having an inner space divided into a water supply compartment and a boiler compartment by a partition, the water supply compartment having a water pouring hole, and the boiler compartment having a heater and a steam discharge hole. Also, a water supply passage is defined between the water supply compartment and the boiler compartment. This configuration has the effects of achieving improved workability and reduced manufacturing costs of the steam generator and also, of overcoming a limit in the inner volume of a cooking chamber of the steam oven.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a method and device which can determine current available bandwidth for each Transport Control Protocol (TCP) connection and adjust window size dynamically according to the available bandwidth to achieve high network utilization and efficient flow control in the same time without the need to buffer any received TCP packets, which can work with and without support of large window option. The device classifies incoming traffic into several groups (public and private), monitors and allocates the available bandwidth for each group. To enable flow control, the device also records the initial window size value for each connection and compares it with the original window size value for a newly received TCP packet. If the original window size value received from TCP receivers changes, the device varies the modified window size accordingly to enable efficient flow control in the same device as well.

The first substrate has a first insulating substrate, and a pixel electrode formed on the first insulating substrate with a first opening pattern. The first and the second opening patterns proceed parallel to each other while being arranged in an alternate manner. A liquid crystal material is injected between the first and the second substrates. A spacer is positioned at an end of the second opening pattern to maintain the distance between the first and the second substrates.
