  • Publication number: 20100048225
Abstract: A paging apparatus and method in a mobile communication system providing an MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service). In the mobile communication system, to page a UE for a first service through a primary carrier during a second service in progress through a secondary carrier, a PICH (Paging Indication Channel) transmitter in a Node B transmits paging indication information to the UE through the primary carrier by oscillating the primary carrier as a transmission frequency. A PCH (Paging Channel) transmitter transmits paging information to the UE through the primary carrier or the secondary carrier by oscillating the primary carrier or the secondary carrier as the transmission frequency under a predetermined control. • Publication number: 20100045820
Abstract: An image processing system is disclosed which uses gain information from an input image to determine a threshold value used to filter the input image. The gain information is indicative of the amount of illumination of the input image and thus the noise level. The image processing system includes an image processor, a converter and a filter. The image processor receives and processes first image information into second image information and extracts the gain information from the first image information. The converter converts the gain information into a filter threshold, which is used by the filter to filter the second image information to provide filtered image information. The converter may include a lookup table storing noise characteristic estimates or the threshold values. The threshold values may further be based on subband size. The filter may be a wavelet-based transform denoising filter.

  • Publication number: 20100043119
Abstract: The present invention is a golf club which induces proper grip and suitable swing by removing the thumb-covering portion of a golf glove so as to extend the Skin Contact Length between the thumb and forefinger. Due to the absence of a thumb covering, structural problems with the glove covering stretching from the thumb area toward the palm may arise when centrifugal force is imparted by the golf club. If the glove covering has been stretched, the covering will become folded when the club is gripped; this causes a pull on the left thumb when gloves are worn and leads to improper grip. Therefore, in order to provide elasticity with regard to stretching, in place of sheepskin the area subject to stretching is processed with a Spandex material having excellent elasticity and flexibility.

  • Publication number: 20100045341
Abstract: A method is disclosed for controlling an output impedance of an electronic device of the type having an impedance control terminal to which an external load is to be connected such that a predetermined value of the voltage at the impedance control terminal controls the output impedance of the device. The method is comprised of comparing a reference voltage to a voltage at the impedance control terminal. A variable count signal representing a count value is produced in response to the comparing. The impedance of a variable impedance circuit is varied in response to the count signal, wherein the impedance of the variable impedance circuit controls the voltage at the impedance control terminal. A device connected in parallel with the variable impedance circuit is periodically operated to change (increase/decrease) the impedance of the variable impedance circuit. An apparatus for performing the method is also disclosed.
