  • Publication number: 20100239242
Abstract: A handheld electronic device includes a housing, and a camera lens. The housing has a hole, and a camera lens is accommodated within the housing and exposed through the hole. The device includes a slidable panel and a retractable panel. The slidable panel is slidable relative to the housing between a covering position and a uncovering position. The camera lens is covered by the slidable panel when the slidable panel is at the covering position. The camera lens is uncovered when the slidable panel is at uncovering position. The retractable panel is movable relative to the housing between a retracted position and an unretracted position. The device further includes a mechanism configured to move the retractable panel from the unretracted position to the retracted position as the slidable panel slides from the covering position to the uncovering position.

  • Patent number: 7691496
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a cutting tool having high toughness and abrasion resistance, in which a coated cutting tool including a cemented carbide substrate, a cermet substrate or a ceramic substrate coated with a hard coating film by means of chemical vapor deposition, moderate temperature-chemical vapor deposition or physical vapor deposition, and/or a cemented carbide cutting tool, a cermet cutting tool or a ceramic cutting tool are subjected to wet blasting using 10-300 ?m sized particles to decrease residual tensile stress or increase residual compressive stress, thereby improving toughness, and also, reducing surface roughness of the cutting tool, thus remarkably increasing chipping resistance and flaking resistance.

  • Publication number: 20090068814
Abstract: A semiconductor device may include a semiconductor substrate and a plurality of first capacitor electrodes arranged in a plurality of parallel lines on the semiconductor substrate with each of the first capacitor electrodes extending away from the semiconductor substrate. A plurality of capacitor support pads may be provided with each capacitor support pad being connected to first capacitor electrodes of at least two adjacent parallel lines of the first capacitor electrodes and with adjacent capacitor support pads being spaced apart. A dielectric layer may be provided on each of the first capacitor electrodes, and a second capacitor electrode may be provided on the dielectric layer so that the dielectric layer is between the second capacitor electrode and each of the first capacitor electrodes. Related methods are also discussed.

  • Publication number: 20080186648
Abstract: A method of fabricating an integrated circuit device includes forming a plurality of lower capacitor electrodes vertically extending from a substrate. The plurality of lower capacitor electrodes respectively include an inner sidewall and an outer sidewall. At least one support pattern is formed vertically extending between ones of the plurality of lower capacitor electrodes from top portions thereof opposite the substrate and along the outer sidewalls thereof towards the substrate to a depth that is greater than a lateral distance between adjacent ones of the plurality of lower capacitor electrodes. A dielectric layer is formed on the support pattern and on outer sidewalls of the plurality of lower capacitor electrodes, and an upper capacitor electrode is formed on the dielectric layer. Related devices are also discussed.

  • Publication number: 20070148498
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an ?-Al2O3 coating layer, which is applied on the surface of a cutting tool substrate made of cemented carbide, cermet or ceramic material. The ?-Al2O3 layer is deposited on a TiMewCxNyOz (Me=Zr, Hf, w+x+y+z=1, w, x, y, z?0) layer to a thickness of 2-1 5 ?m through high-temperature chemical vapor deposition, such that the texture coefficient, TC(110), of the crystal plane (110) among the crystal planes (012), (104), (110), (113), (024) and (116) thereof is larger than 1.5, while the texture coefficient of the crystal planes (012), (104), (113), (024) and (116) is smaller than 1.0, said ?-Al2O3 layer having thermal cracks. Thus, the ?-Al2O3 layer has improved abrasion resistance and adhesion.

  • Publication number: 20060003186
Abstract: The present invention provides a thin film coated on a cutting tool surface made of cemented carbides, cermets or ceramics. According to the present invention, an ?-Al2O3 thin film is deposited on a TiAlvBwCxNyOz (v+w+x+y+z=1, v, w, x, y, z?0) thin film in a thickness of 2-15 ?m, so that the ratio of TC (104) (denoting the texture coefficient of the (104) crystal plane of the polycrystalline ?-Al2O3 thin film) to TC (012) (denoting the texture coefficient of the (012) crystal) is more than 1.3. Cutting tools coated with such a thin film have improved wear resistance and adhesion.
