  • Patent number: 8563904
Abstract: A heated eyelash curler comprises a curling head portion having an arcuate top surface on one end and a protection case on the other end. The protection case serves as a handle and also encloses the power source. A heating element is laid on the arcuate top surface caged inside a plurality of bridges or protected between protruding comblike spikes. The curler includes a pigmented silicone piece which changes in color corresponding to the temperature of the heating element as indicator. The heating element comprises a conducting wire lined or coated with a high temperature insulation arranged in zigzag configuration inserted into a conducting tube. The circuitry includes a converter for boosting the voltage of the power source which hastens the rise in temperature of the heating element and this in combination with the heating element having the conducting wire in zigzag configuration, provide a more stable and even heating.

  • Patent number: 8267099
Abstract: An eyelash groomer having multiple functions on a function head portion of the groomer. The number of functions depend upon the number of function head pieces. Each function head pieces is recommended to have a plurality of small bridges protruding perpendicularly from its respective bases to cage a heating element accessible to each function head piece of the function head of the eyelash groomer. The bridges also prevent the skin from directly contacting the heating element but allow the eyelashes direct contact for optimum curling. The bridges also serve as a guide for the eyelashes because the eyelashes enter at the intervals or spaces between the bridges. The heating element run horizontally beneath each function head piece. A heating mechanism heats the heating element and a protection case houses the components of the heating mechanism and serves as a handle for the eyelash groomer.

  • Publication number: 20110121592
Abstract: A tweezers formed from one or two elongated flat sheet. When they are formed from two elongated flat sheets, one end is joined together to form a stationary end resulting in a free opposing end opposite the stationary end. Each free opposing end has a head accommodating a plurality of tips at a distance from each other, the tips from the top member pairing with the tips from the bottom member, opening and closing according to a pressure exerted on a surface proximal to the free opposing ends. The tweezers formed from one flat elongated sheet having two opposite ends are folded at a mid section, the folded section forms the stationary end opposite a free opposing end formed from the two opposite ends of the elongated sheet.

  • Patent number: 7669605
Abstract: A heated eyelash curler comprising a curling head having a heating element, a cover switch engaged with the heated eyelash curler, and a body enclosing operational components of the heated eyelash curler connected to the curling head. The cover switch turns the heating element “on” after exposing the curling head and turns the heating element “off” after covering the curling head instead of the current practice of manually turning the switch “on” and “off”. The engagement between the parts on the cover switch and the heated eyelash curler attaches the cover switch to the body of the heated eyelash curler. The heating element on the eyelash curler can be conventional or it can adopt wiring in a zigzag configuration housed within a conducting tube coated with a non-sticking material.
