The tracking system is used to track the at least one electronic device after the at least one electronic device is lost or stolen. The server controls the at least one electronic device to obtain tracking information for tracking the at least one electronic device, and the at least one electronic device sends the tracking information to the server. The server tracks the at least one electronic device by searching for information in the database most closely matching the tracking information.

    Abstract: Emulation software executes upon an operating system of a computer and creates an emulated computer. Bootstrapping code is read into this emulated computer from a sector (such as a master boot record) of a mass storage device. Instructions in the bootstrapping code are executed by an instruction emulator (also using an emulated CPU, emulated memory and an emulated hard disk) and these instructions and behavior are collected as each instruction executes. Access to the actual hard disk may be allowed. The collected information is then compared to a virus signature or behavior rules indicating malware and a conclusion is drawn as to whether the bootstrapping code includes malicious software.

In an embodiment, an analyzer is configured to receive a data input corresponding to an image in a stream of images that constitute a video sequence of images. The analyzer is further configured to determine a mathematical representation of the image content based on a power spectrum analysis of vertical components of the image in comparison to a power spectrum analysis of horizontal components of the image. Based on this comparison of the vertical frequency components to the horizontal frequency components, a determination about the original aspect ratio of the image may be determined. This determination may be used by a video processor to correctly apply aspect ratio conversion for final image output.
