Abstract: The disclosure provides messenger ribonucleic acids (mRNAs) encoding an antigenic protein capable of eliciting an immune response to a coronavirus. The disclosure also provides antigen proteins encoded by the mRNAs. The disclosure further provides methods for eliciting an immune response in a subject, and methods for preventing and/or treating a coronavirus infection in a subject.

Abstract: A drain pan and an air conditioner are provided. The drain pan includes a plastic member and a foaming member, an air outlet near the edge of the plastic member, and a water receiving sink. An air inlet is provided in the middle part of the plastic member. The water receiving sink is arranged between the air inlet and the air outlet and surrounds the air inlet. The air outlet continuously surrounds at least part of the outer edge of the water receiving sink. Multiple supporting grilles are arranged inside the air outlet. The supporting grilles are distributed at intervals in an extension direction of the air outlet. The foaming member and the plastic member at least partially overlap with each other. The foaming member avoids the air inlet and the air outlet.

The wrapper cutter further includes: an open slot, one side of which is provided with a notch extending along a vertical direction; a cutting knife, fixed on the inner bottom wall of the notch; a rhombic indwelling notch, arranged at one side of the cutting knife; a fixed plate, configured for forcibly bending an introduced wrapper into an arc-shaped surface, so that the wrapper passing through the cut position reaches a maximum stiffness and tension; parallel guideways, a limiting slope for allowing the rolled wrapper to abut against the cutting knife being arranged between the parallel guideways. By adopting a polygonal three-dimensional supporting structure and the fixed plate, the rolled wrapper can reach a maximum tension, and hits the cutting edge to generate a maximum lateral component force.

Abstract: A high-efficiency solar multi-layer evaporative seawater desalination device includes a transparent housing. In the device, wedge-shaped recesses are formed on an outer wall of the transparent housing; during seawater desalination, seawater is injected into evaporation trays and sunlight is irradiated on the evaporation trays through the transparent housing; the transparent housing is made of a transparent plastic material, such that sunlight can directly enter the transparent housing and increase a temperature therein to speed up the evaporation; the wedge-shaped recesses are on a shady surface; during desalination, seawater in the evaporation trays absorbs heat and evaporates to form water vapor, such that there is a given temperature difference between the water vapor and the outside; and a lower part of the wedge-shaped recess can serve as a condensation surface, the water vapor condenses on the transparent housing or at the wedge-shaped recess.

Abstract: A method and a system for identifying a glacial lake outburst debris flow (GLODF) are provided. The method is obtained based on considering induced influences of slopes of channels and particle sizes of source particles on the GLODF. The method not only compensates for deficiencies in identifying the GLODF, but also realizes determination of the GLODF, which provides data basis for disaster prevention and control layout such as monitoring and early warning on a glacial lake and assists preventing and managing disasters caused by the GLODF. Meanwhile, multiple parameters used in the method are easy and convenient to obtain, and the parameters can be directly used on site, which saves engineering cost, improves working efficiency, and has high practical and promotional value in environmental protection and disaster prevention and mitigation.

Abstract: Disclosed are a pharmaceutical composition for animals containing 5-hydroxy-1-methylimidazolidine-2,4-dione as an active ingredient, more specifically, a composition for preventing or treating kidney disease in animals containing 5-hydroxy-1-methylimidazolidine-2,4-dione or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient, a method of treating kidney disease in animals using the compound, and a functional feed for preventing or ameliorating kidney disease in animals containing the compound as an active ingredient. The 5-hydroxy-1-methylimidazolidine-2,4-dione can effectively ameliorate and treat symptoms of kidney disease when administered to companion animals such as dogs or cats with kidney disease. Therefore, there are provided a novel agent and method for treating kidney disease of animals that can effectively treat kidney disease, which is the cause of high mortality in companion animals.

Abstract: According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a first device determines one or more second devices to share a channel occupancy time (COT) for a sidelink transmission over an unlicensed spectrum bands. The first device transmits the information which indicates the COT to be shared by the first device and the one or more second devices. The second device determines a transmission gap within the COT and performs a LBT/CCA on the unlicensed spectrum bands based on the determined gap. In this way, it achieves sharing the COT among SL devices. It can improve spectrum efficiency and avoid resource waste.

Abstract: The present invention relates to fused piperidinyl bicyclic, meta-substituted piperidinyl and their related compounds that modulate activities of mammalian C5a receptor by directly binding to the C5a receptor. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds and their use in the treatment of a disease or a disorder involving pathogenic activation of C5a receptors.

Abstract: A purification method for detection of a strontium isotope in a silk cultural relic. The method includes: (1) enrichment of the strontium isotope: after cleaning the silk cultural relic, adding the silk cultural relic to a digestion agent for microwave digestion, and conducting evaporation drying; and adding a dried product to a nitric acid solution for centrifugal separation, and extracting a supernatant; and (2) purification of the strontium isotope: first, mixing 4?,4?(5?)-di-tert-butyldicyclohexano-18-crown-6 and a defoamer and adsorbed to a purified resin separation column, and pre-cleaning the purified resin separation column with a nitric acid solution; next, injecting the supernatant in step (1) into the purified resin separation column with a nitric acid solution as a carrier solution; and then, injecting an 84Sr solution and an elution solution into the purified resin separation column in sequence to obtain a separated and purified strontium solution.

Abstract: A quasi-solid-state battery formed from non-gas evolving in-situ curing of a quasi-solid-state electrolyte that includes a high swelling polymer made from a monomer with good compatibility with liquid electrolytes, and has a good reactivity for facile non-gas evolving in-situ polymerization. The monomer can be based on acrylate polymerization chemistry or an allyl group polymerization chemistry. Non-gas evolving initiators are used for non-gas evolving in-situ polymerization of acrylate or allyl monomer-based QSE. The resulting QSE additionally has high ionic conductivity, allowing for a high battery output, and a wide electrochemical window (stable for lithium metal anode and high-voltage cathodes). The resulting quasi solid electrolyte battery is not only easy to fabricate using conventional battery manufacturing practices, the non-gas evolving in-situ polymerization causes the QSE to be uniformly distributed within the battery, ensuring high-quality, safe battery performance and longevity.

Moreover, the multiple predefined RUs include two or more first predefined RUs having a first number of tones less than a predefined amount, or two or more second predefined RUs having a second number of tones greater than or equal to the predefined amount. For example, the predefined amount may include 242 tones. Note that the multiple predefined RUs may have the same or different numbers of tones. Moreover, the electronic may receive an acknowledgment or a block acknowledgment from the recipient electronic device.

Abstract: Disclosed is a flexible filter spectral camera. A flexible filter module includes N flexible filter units corresponding to N different wavebands, respectively, where N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2. A CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) module is used to convert incident light into a digital signal. Any one of the N flexible filter units can be switched to a preset position to filter light emitted from a lens and transmit light at a corresponding waveband to the CMOS module. The preset position is between the lens and the CMOS module. An image processor is connected to the CMOS module and is used to convert the digital signal into an image. In accordance with the present disclosure, precision imaging of the lens is achieved, the overlapping accuracy and imaging quality of the images are improved, and meanwhile, the processing efficiency for overlapped images is improved.
