Abstract: Provided is a method for generating metadata for symbolic music and a music restoring apparatus employing the same, and more particularly, a method for generating metadata for ornaments existing in the Korean traditional music and an apparatus for restoring multimedia including the same. A method for generating metadata for music, which is suggested in the present invention, includes the steps of: a) generating an extensible Markup Language (XML) notation for ornaments; b) generating a complete form of metadata including the XML notation; and c) generating metadata for entire music by using the complete form of metadata and the XML notation.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for injecting synchronized stream data into a Motion Picture Experts Group 2 (MPEG-2) video/audio transport stream for a digital data broadcasting service. The apparatus and method for injecting synchronized stream data calculate the injection time point of data access unit (DAU) that forms the synchronized stream data and injects DAU into the MPEG-2 video/audio transport stream based on the calculated injection time point so that the synchronized stream data could be presented smoothly in a receiver. The synchronized stream data injecting apparatus includes: an additional data storing unit, a synchronized stream data selection/establishment unit, a synchronized stream data analyzing unit, a transport stream analyzing unit, a synchronized stream data injection/management unit, a presentation time stamp re-stamping unit and a multiplexing unit.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a belt to transfer a printing medium, a plurality of support rollers which rotatably supports the belt, a photosensitive medium which has a surface on which a visible toner image is formed by charged toner, a transfer roller which is disposed adjacent to the photosensitive medium with the belt interposed therebetween, a power supplying part which supplies power to the transfer roller so that a surface of the transfer roller has an electrical potential, and a control part which controls the power supplying part to supply a pulse power, which has a middle power of a same polarity as a polarity of the charged toner, to the transfer roller so that the charged toner remaining on the belt after the belt transfers the printing medium past the photosensitive medium is transferred back to the photosensitive medium.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a system for management of handover only trunk line between mobile switching centers for handover in a mixed mobile communication system of an asynchronous network and a synchronous network. The invention is performed to connect and disconnect a trunk line between asynchronous mobile switching centers and synchronous mobile switching centers, thereby sending and receiving of trunk line management messages wherein the message types are reset circuit message, blocking message, trunk test message and other additional types of message.

The trick play system includes: a speed information input unit configured to receive a speed value; a transmission condition determining unit configured to determine instantaneous decoding refresh (IDR) transmission conditions based on the speed value inputted through the speed information input unit; a double-speed IDR-unit generating unit configured to generate a double-speed IDR-unit by adjusting the number and data size of video frames to be transmitted in accordance with the transmission conditions determined by the transmission condition determining unit; and a transmitting unit configured to transmit the generated double-speed IDR-unit to an external user terminal.

Abstract: A stereo support system and method for a mobile terminal are disclosed. The stereo support method uses a sound generation device having a sound generation main unit and a sound generation sub-unit to play a first audio material selected in a mobile terminal, and comprises: generating a second audio material by modifying phase or play-time properties of the first audio material; and streaming the first audio material to the sound generation main unit and the second audio material to the sound generation sub-unit. As a result, the user of a mobile terminal can enjoy stereo sounds using a monaural headset.

Abstract: A PLL circuit includes a phase detector that compares the phase of an input clock with the phase of a feedback clock so as to generate pull-up and pull-down control signals. A low pass filter pumps a voltage in response to the pull-up and pull-down control signals, and removes a noise component from the pumped voltage so as to output a control voltage. A buffer that controls voltage so as to generate a bias voltage having a smaller swing width than the control voltage. A voltage controlled oscillator receives the bias voltage and oscillates an output clock. A clock divider divides the frequency of the output clock at a predetermined ratio so as to generate the feedback clock.

The system of indexing an image object, the system includes: an image input unit receiving an image from a camera of a portable device, and displaying the received image on a display unit; a geographical object identification unit identifying a geographical object included in an object location corresponding to the image; a context information extraction unit extracting context information corresponding to the identified geographical object from a context database; and a display control unit displaying the context information on a position of the image, the position corresponding to the geographical object, and the image being displayed on the display unit.

Abstract: A photo category classification method including dividing a region of a photo based on content of the photo and extracting a visual feature from the segmented region of the photo, modeling at least one local semantic concept included in the photo according to the extracted visual feature, acquiring a posterior probability value from confidence values acquired from the modeling of the at least one local semantic concept by normalization using regression analysis, modeling a global semantic concept included in the photo by using the posterior probability value of the at least one local semantic concept; and removing classification noise from a confidence value acquired from the modeling the global semantic concept.
