  • Publication number: 20050123254
Abstract: An underground power cable having an optical fiber sensor for measuring temperature distribution is disclosed. In the power cable, an optical fiber for measuring temperature distribution is received in a stainless steel tube having excellent strength, and this optical tube is interposed between a core and a sheath of the power cable. When arranging the optical tube in the power cable, a supporting material having a relatively low strength than the optical tube is arranged in the cable together in order to prevent the optical fiber from being damaged by external force and prevent the inner insulation layer from being broken down by the optical tube. In addition, a fixing tape for fixing the optical tube in contact with the core may be added to prevent the optical tube from being bent seriously or inclined to one side when the cable is bent.

  • Publication number: 20050113154
Abstract: A sliding-type mobile communication terminal having a first housing and a second housing adapted to allow the first housing to be opened or closed by means of a sliding movement on the first housing in a longitudinal direction of the first housing. The terminal includes a spring module adapted to provide a sliding force, along the longitudinal direction of the first housing, for allowing closing of the second housing within a predetermined range of distance, and for providing the sliding force in an opposite direction for allowing opening of the second housing beyond the predetermined range of distance. The spring module includes link bars rotatably coupled in one end onto the first housing, coil springs supported by one end of the link bar and coupled to enclose the link bar, and a slider slidably coupled to the link bar to be acted upon by an elastic force from the coil spring. The terminal uses the elasticity in coil springs to implement a semi-automatic sliding opening/closure of the second housing.

  • Patent number: 6888597
Abstract: A manufacturing method of an array substrate for a transflective liquid crystal display device includes forming a gate insulator on a gate line and a gate electrode formed on a substrate. A data line, source and drain electrodes are formed on an ohmic contact layer formed on an active layer on the gate insulator. A first passivation layer made of a first material is deposited on the data line, source and drain electrodes. A second passivation layer made of a second material is deposited on the first passivation layer. The second passivation layer is patterned, thereby forming a first drain contact hole exposing the first passivation layer over the drain electrode. A reflector is formed on the second passivation layer, the reflector having a first transmissive hole The first passivation layer is patterned thereby forming a second drain contact hole exposing the drain electrode. The second drain contact hole corresponds to the first drain contact hole.
