  • Publication number: 20100060571
Abstract: A KVM switch system having a touch screen for interacting with multiple computers is disclosed. The KVM switch processes coordinate data from the touch screen and transfers the processed data to the controlled computer either as absolute mouse coordinate data or as relative mouse coordinate data depending on the operating system (Windows, Mac OS, SUN, etc.) and mouse data interface (USB, PS/2, etc.) used by the computer. Thus, the touch screen can interact with all computers connected to the KVM switch, achieving a multi-platform and multi-interface application without requiring device drivers on the computers. The KVM switch stores necessary parameters for each computer so that when switching from one computer port to another, or when the display resolution of the computer changes, processing of the touch screen data is automatically adjusted accordingly. The touch screen also works within the OSD of the KVM switch.

  • Patent number: 7217658
Abstract: High density plasma chemical vapor deposition and etch back processes fill high aspect ratio gaps without liner erosion or further underlying structure attack. The characteristics of the deposition process are modulated such that the deposition component of the process initially dominates the sputter component of the process. For example, reactive gasses are introduced in a gradient fashion into the HDP reactor and introduction of bias power onto the substrate is delayed and gradually increased or reactor pressure is decreased. In the case of a multi-step etch enhanced gap fill process, the invention may involve gradually modulating deposition and etch components during transitions between process steps. By carefully controlling the transitions between process steps, including the introduction of reactive species into the HDP reactor and the application of source and bias power onto the substrate, structure erosion is prevented.

  • Patent number: 6824475
Abstract: A golf club head is provided having a substantially increased sweet spot across its club face. A preferred construction includes an annular area on a rear surface having increased thickness surrounding a central region with a balance point of the club face. The central region of the face has a generally reduced thickness that is less than the maximum of the annular area but greater than a minimum thickness at the peripheral area. The face material may be metallic, but in alternative embodiments the effective bending stiffness profiles represented by this annular area may be achieved by appropriate use of composites, for example. Methods for manufacturing a golf club head having a face with the bending stiffness profiles of the present invention include forging and machining techniques as well as laser deposition and inertia welding.
