    Abstract: A computer system is configured to override an original behavior of a function at runtime. Overriding the original behavior of the function at runtime includes identifying an override behavior for overriding the original behavior of the function, and encoding replacement code based on the override behavior. Further, a size of the replacement code is identified, and a first memory address of the function where code of the function is stored is also identified. The computer system then copies a block of code having the size of the replacement code from the first memory address to a second memory address, and copies the replacement code to the first memory address. After the replacement code is executed, copying the block of code stored at the second memory address back to the first memory address, restoring the code of the function.

The STA can then transmit a request frame to change the original short term identity assigned to the STA to the AP. The STA can receive a response frame from the AP. The response frame can include a new short term identity assigned to the station by the AP. The STA can then map its new long term identity to its new short term identity assigned by the AP.

    Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for triggered multi-link (ML) access coordination. A station (STA) ML device (MLD) can establish a preferred triggering link (PTL) with an access point (AP) MLD where the PTL is the preferred link for receiving triggering frames. The STA MLD can transmit uplink (UL) frames via the PTL in response to a trigger frame. Subsequently, the STA MLD can determine that the PTL is busy, and transmit enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) UL frames on a non-PTL link. In a power save mode, the STA MLD can use the PTL to exchange UL and downlink (DL) frames. Multiple PTLs can be established supporting concurrent trigger frames, and different ranges of traffic IDs (TIDs) can be used for each PTL. The STA MLD can utilize AP MLD link pair information to receive a DL retransmission corresponding to one TID via both links of the AP MLD link pair.
