  • Patent number: 9992680
Abstract: A method includes establishing, in response to a network device operating in the first frequency band, security for the first frequency band and a second frequency band by performing a single authentication in the first frequency band prior to the network device switching operation from the first frequency band to the second frequency band. The method includes transferring, subsequent to the network device switching operation from the first frequency band to the second frequency band, a communication session of the network device from the first frequency band to the second frequency band. The method includes resuming the communication session of the network device in the second frequency band using the security established for the second frequency band (i) during the operation of the network device in the first frequency band, and (ii) prior to the network device switching operation from the first frequency band to the second frequency band.

  • Patent number: 9954642
Abstract: In some embodiments, a first wireless device initializes a first threshold and sends a first frame transmission to a second wireless device. When the first wireless device determines that the first frame transmission was successful, it adjusts the first threshold to a second threshold that is greater than the first threshold. Additionally, when the first wireless device determines that the first frame transmission was not successful, the first wireless device adjusts the first threshold to a third threshold that is less than the first threshold. The thresholds can be associated with any measure, including carrier sensitivity and/or energy detection.

Abstract: A water tank-less toilet flushing system includes a toilet bowl and a control system which includes a flush valve located higher than a top surface of the toilet bowl and a check valve operatively linked to the flush valve. When the flush valve is opened, the check valve is closed due to a water pressure for enabling the water to flush the toilet bowl. When the flush valve is closed, the check valve is opened for communicating an interior of the flush valve with an ambient atmosphere to prevent water in the toilet bowl to be backflow to the flush valve.

  • Patent number: 9918340
Abstract: A wireless access point includes a medium access control circuit that generates a first traffic indication map announcing a restricted access window (RAW). A physical layer device transmits a first beacon, including the first traffic indication map, over a wireless medium. The RAW begins subsequent to the first beacon and ends prior to the next beacon. During the RAW, the physical layer device accesses the wireless medium using a first set of channel access parameters. Outside of the RAW, the physical layer device accesses the wireless medium using a second set of channel access parameters different than the first set. The second set includes channel access values respectively corresponding to access categories. A first frame, associated with a first access category, is transmitted after waiting for a period of time that is based on a channel access value corresponding to the first access category.
