Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a circuit protection method. The method includes that: a voltage or a current sent by a sending end is received, and a received voltage value or current value is sampled; when it is detected that the sampled voltage value or current value is in a first pre-set threshold range, a pre-set input control switch is controlled to be turned on, and the input of a voltage or a current of the sending end is received; the received voltage or current is converted, and a voltage value of the processed voltage or a current value of the processed current is sampled; and when it is detected that the processed voltage value or current value is in a second pre-set threshold range, a pre-set output control switch is controlled to be turned on, and the processed voltage or current is allowed to be outputted. The forwarding method includes receiving a first dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) for Internet Protocol (IP) version 6 (DHCPv6 ) message from a DHCPv6 client through a layer-3 interface, generating a relay-forward message, where the first DHCPv6 message is encapsulated into the relay-forward message and an identifier (ID) of the layer-3 interface is added therein, and sending the relay-forward message to a DHCPv6 server.

Abstract: A vertical oil storage system is disclosed, having an oil tank for storing oil and water, an oil caisson coupled to the top of the oil tank, a water caisson coupled to the bottom of the oil tank, and a containment saucer at the interface between the oil and the water stored in the oil tank. Additionally, there is a water pipe extending from an upper water sump in the center well to the water caisson, a water passageway extending from the center well to the water caisson, and an oil pipe extending from the topside facility to the oil caisson.

The system includes a protocol module coupled to the interface module and configured for providing one or more serial communication protocols. Based on the protocol selection, one of the serial communication protocols is selected. The system also includes a serial engine module coupled to the interface module and the protocol module. The serial engine module is configured for transmitting and receiving data or commands based on the selected serial communication protocol.

Abstract: A vertical oil storage system includes an oil tank for storing oil and water, an oil caisson coupled to the top of the oil tank, a water caisson coupled to the bottom of the oil tank, a containment saucer positioned and floating substantially at the interface between the oil and the water stored in the oil tank, a water pipe extending from an upper water sump in the center well to the water caisson, a water passageway extending from the center well to the water caisson, and an oil pipe extending front the topside facility to the oil caisson. A corresponding method to displace water with oil and to separate oil from displaced water in the vertical oil storage system includes loading oil from a topside facility into an oil caisson via an oil pipe, offloading water from water caisson into an upper water sump in a center well via a water pipe, and offloading water from the center well is a water passageway and discharging it back to open water via a water outlet at the keel of the platform.

Abstract: An analog silicon photomultiplier system includes at least one analog pixel comprising a plurality of analog photodiodes (APDs), and a capacitor, a signal generator, a phase detector, and a compensation network. The signal generator is configured to generate and propagate a sinusoidal signal concurrently along first and second transmission lines. A capacitor is loaded on the first transmission line when an APD corresponding to the capacitor detects a photon. The phase detector is coupled with the first and second transmission lines, determines a phase difference between the first transmission line and the second transmission line and calculates a number of APDs that have fired from the phase difference. The compensation network is coupled with the second transmission line and the phase detector, and comprises a plurality of compensation capacitors, wherein the compensation capacitors are loaded on the second transmission line in proportion to the number of APDs that have fired.

Abstract: Column-stabilized floating offshore platform structure for dry tree application is provided. The offshore floating platform can include a deck, a jacket frame attached to the bottom of the deck for supporting the deck, a hull structurally coupled with the jacket frame for providing buoyancy and a restoring force to stabilize the platform, and a mooring system coupled with the hull for maintaining the position of the platform. A method for providing the offshore floating platform is also provided.

Abstract: A multi-router system is described in which hardware and software components of one or more standalone routers can be partitioned into multiple logical routers. The multiple logical routers are isolated from each other in terms of routing and forwarding functions yet allow network interfaces to be shared between the logical routers. Moreover, different logical routers can share network interfaces without impacting the ability of any of the logical routers to be independently scaled to meet the bandwidth demands of the customers serviced by the logical router.
