  • Patent number: 9738612
Abstract: Disclosed are a use of a methylacryloyl benzimidazolone derivative, an optical isomer or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or prodrug thereof in the preparation of: (a) a pharmaceutical composition or reagent for down-regulating the activity of PI3K/Akt pathways; (b) a pharmaceutical composition or reagent for treating or inhibiting a tumour; and/or inhibiting tumour cell growth; and/or (c) a pharmaceutical composition or reagent for blocking the cell cycle. The compounds involved in the present invention can down-regulate the level of Akt phosphorylation in P13K/Akt signaling pathways, and the functional effects of the compounds are equivalent to those of a novel small-molecular targeting drug MK2206; while the research at the cellular level has found that the methylacryloyl benzimidazolone derivatives represented by FD1 have a good proliferation inhibiting effect on tumour cells. What is different from MK2206 is that FD1 has better effects on a PTEN deleted cell.

  • Patent number: 9669082
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of making a proteinase-engineered cancer vaccine for treating a cancer patient, especially for cancer patient at advanced/metastatic stage. The cancer vaccine comprises dead cancer cells with unbroken plasma membrane wherein the extracellular proteins and extracellular portion of membrane proteins are cleaved by proteinase digestion. The cancer vaccine may be derived from cancer cell lines or patients' cancer cells. The present invention provides a method of treating a cancer patient by administrating an effective amount of the cancer vaccine to the patient. In a clinical trial with 35 cancer patients, the cancer vaccine therapy brings cancer-free lives (no detectable tumor, micro tumor or cancer cells after treatments of customized cancer vaccines) back to 40% of these patients. The present invention further provides a method of obtaining cancer-specific immune components from blood of individuals treated with the cancer vaccine.

  • Patent number: 9462016
Abstract: In a sharing session between a presenter and several attendees, the presenter can share any type of document quickly and without substantial prior preparation. The presenter's device identifies an active document-sharing window within the desktop sharing environment, and detects if there is a shared document in the active window. The presenter's device creates a framework for any detected shared document that is transmitted to each of the attendee devices. The framework contains information about the pages in the shared document, such that an attendee device can request a specific page in the shared document. At least the first page of the shared document is rendered to a page image and transmitted to the attendee devices. Upon request from an attendee device, page images of any of the remaining pages may be sent to the attendee device, allowing each attendee to view a different page than the presenter.

  • Publication number: 20160187406
Abstract: A method for identifying a lightning fault of an overhead transmission line (OTL) comprising determining a polarity of a travelling wave of each of three ABC phases subsequent to a single phase outage of the OTL. If the polarity of each phase is the same, the outage is a lightning fault and its type a back flashover; if not the same, proceed to the second step to determine a current change rate R of the fault phase. If R is larger than a threshold value, the outage is a lightning fault and its type a shielding failure; otherwise, the outage is a single-phase grounding fault. A system for identifying the lightning fault which comprises successively at least a group of fault detectors, a wireless communication module, a remote monitoring master station which adopts the above method to determine the fault type of the overhead transmission line.
