  • Publication number: 20130100609
Abstract: A container data center includes a temperature control system to monitor a temperature of the container data center. The temperature control system includes a temperature sensor to sense the temperature of the container data center. The temperature control alarm system determines whether the sensed temperature is greater than first and second predetermined temperatures. The second predetermined temperature is greater than the first predetermined temperature. If the sensed temperature is greater than the first predetermined temperature, a cooling device is turned on to cool the container data center. If the sensed temperature is also greater than the second predetermined temperature, an alarm device is started and an alarm message is transmitted to a monitor center.

Abstract: A display device includes a dial, an alarm setting member, and a warning unit. The alarm setting member includes an A/D converter, a recognition module, a storage module, and an analysis module. With rotation of the dial, a variation voltage is generated. The A/D converter converts variable voltage from analog to digital form. In contrast, the alarm time is decreased. The storage module stores the adjusted alarm time. The analysis module compares the current time with the preset alarm time and outputs a driving signal to the warning unit in the event of a match.

  • Publication number: 20110206735
Abstract: The present invention provides an enriched preparation of cancer stem cells selected by a process that eliminates non-cancer stem cells under extreme culture conditions. The cancer stem cells of the invention are tumorigenic in vivo and form in vitro multilayered 3D-tumors attached to culture plates. The present invention also provides a whole-cell cancer vaccine, which is able to eradicate all cancer cells to make cancer-free mice in a xenograft tumor model. The cancer stem cells of the invention are very useful for basic cancer research, and development of therapeutic and preventive agents for various cancer types.

  • Publication number: 20110086018
Abstract: A proteinase therapy has been invented to eliminate solid tumors by destroying tumors' solid structure and killing cancer cells by cleaving vital extracellular matrix proteins C-terminally, N-terminally or both with cell membrane intact and limited adverse effects. The micro-scale intratumoral proteinase K therapy is tumor specific but not cancer type specific. Proteinase K therapy can be operated on multiple tumors on multiple occasions, if necessary. It may be employed to eliminate any solid tumor to prolong a cancer patient's life span.

  • Patent number: 7619380
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling rotational speed of a fan includes a sensor module, a single chip microcomputer (SCM) module, and a driving module. The sensor module collects rotational speed signals of a fan, and converts the rotational speed signals to voltage signals. The SCM module receives the voltage signals from the sensor module and compares the voltage signals with a predetermined rotational speed value stored in the SCM module, and outputs a control signal according to the comparison. The driving module receives the control signal from the SCM module, and outputs a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to control the rotational speed of the fan.

  • Publication number: 20090162405
Abstract: A harmless cancer vaccine is made from cancer cells with extracellular proteins including self-recognition molecular patterns being digested by a proteinase. The cancer vaccine is used to vaccinate an individual to induce immune responses against cancer cells systemically. Cancer cells become harmless when they are digested by Tumoraseā„¢. Some proteinases including trypsin cannot kill cancer cells completely and treated cancer cells need to be further processed in order to be harmless and effective. Cancer cells may be from tissue-cultured human or animal cancer cell lines or cancer patients directly. Cancer vaccine vaccinated individuals produce cancer vaccine specific immune responses against cancer cells. Immune response components may be isolated and used to fight against cancer for a cancer patient with a suppressed immune system.
