  • Publication number: 20100301828
Abstract: The power management circuit includes a sampling unit, a reference voltage unit, a comparator, and a power managing unit. The sampling unit divides an input voltage from the power supply to generate a sampling voltage. The reference voltage unit receives the input voltage and generates a reference voltage when the input voltage is larger than a predetermined value. The comparator compares the sampling voltage with the reference voltage, generates a first signal when the sampling voltage is larger than the reference voltage, and generates a second signal when the sampling voltage is smaller than the reference voltage. The power managing unit establishes an electrical connection between the power supply and the load according to the first signal, and cuts off the electrical connection between the power supply and the load according to the second signal. A related electronic device is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20100270552
Abstract: A protrusion of dry-etched pattern of a thin film transistor substrate generated due to a difference between isotropy of wet etching and anisotropy of dry etching is removed by forming a plating part on a surface of the wet etched pattern through an electroless plating method. If the plating part is formed on a data pattern layer of the substrate, the width or the thickness of the data pattern layer may be increased without loss of aperture ratio, the channel length of the semiconductor layer may be reduced under the limit according to the stepper resolution and the protrusion part of the semiconductor layer may be removed. As a result, the aperture ratio may be increased, the resistance may be reduced, and the driving margin may be increased due to rising of the ion current. Furthermore, the so-called water-fall noise phenomenon may be eliminated.

  • Publication number: 20100225900
Abstract: A measurement precision is improved and a measurement range is extended by efficiently suppressing a noise level of integrated unnecessary components from non-correlation positions. Measuring means 33 detects the Brillouin gain of a probe light output from a measurement-target optical fiber FUT while sweeping a frequency difference between the pump light and the probe light, and measures the distribution of strains of the measurement-target optical fiber FUT. An optical intensity modulator 4 performs intensity modulation on output light in synchronization with frequency modulation performed on a light source 1. Accordingly, the spectrum distribution with respect to the frequency of light from the light source 1 can be adjusted arbitrarily, and a noise spectrum shape generated at a position other than a correlation peak position and spreading over a frequency axis can be adjusted, and the peak frequency of a Lorentz spectrum generated at the correlation peak position can be measured precisely.

Abstract: A gate driving circuit includes a plurality of stages connected to each other. An m-th stage (‘m’ is a natural number) of the stages includes a pull-up part, a pull-down part, a first holding part and a second holding part. The pull-up part outputs a high voltage of a clock signal as a high voltage of an m-th gate signal in response to a high voltage applied to a first output control part. The pull-down part pulls down the high voltage of the m-th gate signal to a first low voltage in response to a high voltage of an (m+1)-th gate signal. The first holding part holds a voltage applied to the first output control part as a second low voltage having a level lower than the first low voltage. The second holding part holds a low voltage of the m-th gate signal to the first low voltage.
