    Abstract: An asymmetric perpendicular magnetic recording head and a method of manufacturing the same, wherein the perpendicular magnetic recording head includes a read head for reading data from a magnetic recording layer and a write head for writing data on the magnetic recording layer. A main pole of the write head has a first surface facing toward the inside of the magnetic recording layer, a second surface opposing a data recording surface of the magnetic recording layer, and a third surface facing toward the outside of the magnetic recording layer and the first surface is asymmetric to the third surface. The plurality of second metal lines each has a tunnel through which the plurality of first metal lines pass. First input units are connected to the plurality of first metal lines and supply a current to drag or move the plurality of magnetic domains. Second input units are connected to the plurality of second metal lines to supply a current for switching the magnetization directions of magnetic domains inside the tunnels. Sensing units are connected to the plurality of second metal lines for sensing an electromotive force caused by magnetic domain walls passing through the tunnels.

    Abstract: A magnetic memory device includes a memory region, an input and a sensor. The memory region includes a free layer, a pinned layer and a non-magnetic layer. The free layer has adjacent sectors and a magnetic domain wall. The pinned layer corresponds to the sectors and has a fixed magnetization direction. The non-magnetic layer is formed between the free layer and the pinned layer. The memory region includes a magnetic domain wall stopper for stopping the magnetic domain wall formed at each boundary of the sectors. The input is electrically connected to one end of the free layer for inputting a signal for magnetic domain dragging. The sensor measures a current flowing through the memory region.

The main pole and the return pole constitute a magnetic path of the magnetic field. The main pole includes an end facing the perpendicular magnetic recording medium. The end includes a leading part serving as a front side and a trailing part serving as a rear side with respect to a movement direction of the perpendicular magnetic recording medium. Both edges of the trailing part are chamfered, and the leading part has a plane inclined with respect to an air-bearing surface (ABS). The return pole has an end spaced from the main pole, and the other end connected with the main pole.

A ferromagnetic free layer is disposed on the nonmagnetic conductive layer and has a magnetization direction which varies depending on an external magnetic field. A second electrode is disposed on the ferromagnetic free layer and comprises a nonmagnetic conductive material. The band-pass filter and the duplexer are configured using the resonator. The band-pass filter and the duplexer can operate in a high-frequency range and be miniaturized. The bandwidth of the band-pass filter and the duplexer can be adjusted and the band-pass filter and the duplexer can be formed in one body with an integrated circuit.

    Abstract: Provided is a perpendicular magnetic recording medium. The perpendicular magnetic recording medium includes: a lower structure; and a recording layer formed on the lower structure, wherein the recording layer has a balancing force 2?Mr2/K1 of 0.5 or less and a factor 4?Mr/Hc of 0.8 or less where Mr denotes a remnant magnetization, K1 denotes a perpendicular magnetic anisotropy energy constant, and Hc denotes a coercive force. Accordingly, even though grain boundaries between grains that constitute the recording layer are somewhat non-uniform in width, the grains can have almost the same nucleation field. As a result, the perpendicular magnetic recording medium can ensure high recording density and stability of recorded information.

Since the varied diameter parts and the matching parts are respectively installed at both ends of the developing roller and the metering roller, developer wraparound is not generated in the developing roller and a photosensitive roller during development.
