  • Publication number: 20100120356
Abstract: A repeater relays at least one frequency band signal between a base station and a service side, includes at least one variable attenuator for variably attenuating each of at least one frequency band signal, variably attenuates an input signal that is received from the base station through the variable attenuator, and transfers the input signal to the service side. Further, a remote management system of the repeater communicates through the repeater and a mobile communication network and includes a repeater management server for requesting to change an attenuation value of the variable attenuator to the repeater when the input signal is an excess input signal. When an excess input signal is received in the repeater using the repeater and a remote management system of the repeater, an input signal level of the repeater can be remotely adjusted and an input signal level of the repeater can be managed without directly going out to the location, so that a maintenance cost of the repeater can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 7478930
Abstract: A backlight unit includes a substrate, a plurality of light sources arranged on the substrate in a spaced-apart relationship with one another for irradiating lights, a total reflection layer for upwardly reflecting the lights irradiated from the light sources, and an optical layer disposed above the light sources and having an oxide compound layer laminated thereon. The optical layer is adapted to allow a part of the lights to pass through the optical layer but reflect the remaining part of the lights downwardly toward the substrate, to thereby induce the lights from the light sources to optically resonate. The optical resonance caused by the oxide compound-laminated optical layer helps to reduce the half amplitude of a color-based spectrum histogram in a light-emitting spectrum, thereby enhancing the color purity.

  • Patent number: 7394229
Abstract: A Switched Reluctance (SR) generator having improved efficiency at low and high speed is disclosed. The SR generator includes a step-up converter for controlling an excitation voltage of an excitation capacitor capable of providing a phase winding with an excitation current. Therefore, the SR generator can control the excitation current, and can provide a phase winding with a sufficient excitation current, thereby improving efficiency. The step-up converter is arranged between a battery capable of storing generated power and the excitation capacitor, boosts a voltage of the battery, and provides the excitation capacitor with the boosted voltage. Therefore, the SR generator does not include an additional power-supply unit for a boosting function, resulting in simplification of an overall structure and reduction of a production cost.

  • Patent number: 7394228
Abstract: Disclosed is an SR (switched reluctance) generator with improved generation capability in a low-speed range. The SR generator is configured such that an inductance of a phase winding wound around a stator is increased in a low-speed range and is reduced in a high-speed range. Accordingly, a variation rate of the inductance relative to a phase angle is increased in a low-speed range, resulting in an increased output energy in a low-speed range and an improved generation efficiency. The phase winding of the stator may be configured to have a single phase. Accordingly, since the generator is configured with the reduced number of switches, it can be manufactured inexpensively and simply.

  • Patent number: 7279815
Abstract: A swing motor having an opening formed asymmetrically inside a stator. The swing motor is formed with an asymmetrical opening, in particular in a semicircular shape inside the stator. The opening is provided with a plurality of salient poles wound with coils. Electric current alternately flows through the coils so that a rotor, installed in the stator in a state of being spaced apart from the stator, can reciprocally move. Since the height of the stator is reduced by forming the opening asymmetrically in comparison with the case of forming the opening symmetrically, it is advantageous for minimizing the size of the product in which the swing motor is installed.
