    Abstract: A testing device for testing a circuit board including a first connector includes a connecting circuit board including a second connector, a mounting board, a fixing board, and multiple fastening members. The mounting board includes multiple mounting holes. The fixing board includes a base and a cover. The base includes multiple stepped holes corresponding to the mounting holes. The connecting circuit board is fixed in the fixing board. Each of the fastening members includes a sleeve, a receiving fastener, and a threaded fastener. Each of the sleeves is mounted in a corresponding stepped hole, and an outer diameter of the sleeve is less than a least inner diameter of the stepped hole. The sleeve is longer than a depth of a least hole of the stepped hole. Movement of the connecting circuit board relative to the mounting board allows movement of the second connector relative to the first connector.

    Abstract: An SRAM and a forming method and a controlling method thereof are provided. The above-mentioned SRAM includes a tracking column, a normal column, a cell voltage control circuit and a cell voltage pull-down circuit. Each of the tracking column and the normal column includes a plurality of memory cells. The cell voltage control circuit is coupled to the tracking column and the normal column for connecting an operation voltage to the two columns before a write operation of the SRAM starts and for disconnecting the operation voltage from the two columns after the write operation starts. The cell voltage pull-down circuit is coupled to the two columns for pulling down the cell voltages of the two columns after the write operation starts and for ceasing pulling down the cell voltage of the normal column when the cell voltage of the tracking column drops down to a predetermined voltage.

    Abstract: An entertainment system often contains a number of entertainment devices, such as a television, VCR, DVD player, CD player, Cable-TV box, and other devices each of which has a remote controller associated with the device. This often results in a confusing welter of remote controllers to operate the system as a whole. A system and method for displaying control function icons on a television display is presented here. The control function icons are displayed in large font, hi-intensity icons as an overlay on a television screen. There are a number of the graphic icon sets that may be mapped, one to each device in the system that has a remote controller. The user may then select the set of icons for the device to be controlled, select the function desired, and the control function code is sent to the infrared receiver of the device to be controlled.

The method also includes identifying a subpopulation of the defects for each of the different combinations, each of which includes the defects that are common to at least two of the different combinations, and determining a characteristic of a measure of signal-to-noise for each of the subpopulations. The method further includes selecting the polarization settings for the illumination and the collection to be used for the inspection corresponding to the subpopulation having the best value for the characteristic.

    Abstract: A technique for controlling instrumentation in an automatic test system includes providing a group of hardware resources that can be configured in a variety of ways to realize different instrument configurations, which generally correspond to different traditional instrument types. An instrument driver is provided for each of the different instrument configurations, and calls to each instrument driver may be inserted into a test program for controlling the respective instrument configuration. The instrument drivers direct control of the hardware resources via a support driver. The support driver thus provides a central location through which control of the various hardware configurations is processed. From the user's point of view, the instrumentation is programmed as if it consists of a collection of traditional instrument types. But at the hardware level the instrumentation is highly integrated and efficiently realized.
