  • Publication number: 20200008676
Abstract: The present invention provides medical imaging apparatus comprising a primary module for imaging a patient and a supplemental module. A controlling circuitry activates the supplemental module shortly before, during, or shortly after an imaging process using the primary module. Information, data or images of the patient acquired with the supplemental module is registered to the primary image. The invention can aid a radiologist to avoid confusion, mismatching, and other errors when he is reading the primary image; and can help a doctor to establish a correlation between conditions revealed by the primary image, and cutaneous conditions and anatomical change revealed by the supplemental module.

  • Publication number: 20200008764
Abstract: The present invention provides a train-like pharmaceutical composition (configuration, or dosage form) comprising segments linearly arranged in series like cars of a train. When the pharmaceutical composition is administrated into a patient's body, some of the segments are “visible” to an instrument, but others are not. However, “invisible” segments can be estimated, deduced, calculated, or inferred from “visible” segments. The “invisible” segments can be used for neutralizing intratumoral lactic acidosis combined with glucose deprivation to control tumor, among other applications.

  • Publication number: 20170224415
Abstract: A radiofrequency ablation catheter having a meshed tubular stent structure and an apparatus thereof, include a meshed tubular stent disposed at a front end of the catheter. The meshed tubular stent comprises and including a meshed tube (1). Both ends of the meshed tube are tapered to form a distal end and a proximal end of the meshed tubular stent. The intermediate segment of the meshed tubular stent has a contracted state and an expanded state. One or more electrodes (2) are fixed onto the intermediate segment. The radiofrequency ablation catheter has improved flexibility and provides great coverage for the blood vessels with different thicknesses and curves. When the meshed tubular stent expands in the blood vessels having different thicknesses of 4-12 mm, all of the electrodes (2) contact the walls. Moreover, when the meshed tubular stent expands in the curved blood vessels, all of the electrodes are ensured to contact the walls.
